From my experience - Great staff! All are very knowledgeable, helpful, & friendly. Even the youngins. If they don't have an answer for you, they make sure to hand you off to someone who does or work with you to try to figure it out together. They make you feel like they are just as invested in your project as you are. If you go often enough, they come to remember you & will ask how things are going with your project(s), genuinely interested. Very much unlike my experience at the "other" big box store. If you need something installed, they have that service integrated. THEY will make any arrangements needed instead of handing you a list of unknown companies to call yourself. All while guaranteeing the product as well as the install. They're only 1 story tall & they don't have 150 aisles in a bizarre configuration. You probably can't buy cat food, milk, & tshirts while shopping for a box of screws. But what you get in return is a store who's employees are able to answer your questions, make helpful suggestions, & not BS you. They are focused on everything having to do with home improvement. They are happy to spend as much time explaining something to you until you're both sure you fully understand. This is not just a hobby or a whim for them. It's a satisfying way of life they take great pride in. They want the customer to feel that same pride of a job well done. My experience (which has been a bit extensive in the last few years) has been that their staff is truly customer focused. Read more8/19/2021 I ordered a Frigidaire 18.3 cu ft., on 9/2/2021 it was delivered morning of 9/3/2021 the New, just delivered refrigerator was hot and not working. I called and complained, they said I would have another one within 2weeks. Received a call in 2 weeks and informed it would arrive October 4th.. at this point I am pulling my hair out !!!! Fast forward to today, Friday 10/1/2021( 3 days before my working refrigerator to be delivered) they notify me my new delivery date will be sometime in NOVEMBER !!!! I called the on- line # and they connected me with Northlake stores Top Rep ( insert eye roll ) Paula was looking to help me get a working refrigerator, she suggested I purchase a floor model from their store. At this point I am ok with this option .. sort of. What blew me away was the fact that PAULA said I could pick up the refrigerator. I assured her if I am purchasing a floor model from their store because the one I purchased from them and PAID for delivery they will need to deliver the new working floor model and remove the broken model from my home. Paula's response " We don't remove old refrigerators" I about lost it ! how in the world do you not remove the broken refrigerator you delivered !?!!!! Read moreI am a little bit overdue for this review, but it's extremely important that I voice my feelings, which I hope are read, and rewarded by Sheen ??? the Northlake Store Manager. I had a flooring project, which started off on a bad note, mostly my fault, but was then corrected by Debbie from the Flooring Department, who did an OUTSTANDING job of helping me to get it back on track. She was a one of a kind professional and personable customer service rep who went ABOVE AND BEYOND, INCLUDING POST INSTALLATION FOLLOW UP. I can't say enough good things about her, and hope that she gets recognized accordingly. In addition, upon return of my excess materials, and a drawn out discussion, I have to also say that Claudia, and Manager Raquel, also went above and beyond to help me with the challenging credit to my original purchase. All these ladies are the reason that I, and hopefully thousands others, will do business with your store, because they truly make a difference, which I know is the reason that I will remain a committed customer.
