Tacos Puebla - Northlake — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Went today for the first time, Taco special,Monday , Tuesday and Thursday. 1.50 for tacos can't beat the price for the baby taco. Don't let the name fool you they are well served. I got steak, Al pastor and barbacoa. They were all delicious and full of flavor, hadn't had a taco like these in a while. Did I mention the salsa bar they have, we tried all of them and they are good some hotter than others. Our waitress was attentive and friendly , she explained how the taco special works , fast service didn't wait more than 5 minutes for our tacos.For two people including drinks and 10 tacos we spent under 25 dollars. Will definitely be coming back and recommending Tacos Puebla to friends and family. Can't wait to try out the other food...

ordered a taco de birria with cheese but ended up receiving a quesadilla with birria instead. While I decided to give it a try, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The portion size was decent, but the flavors were lacking. The rice had no seasoning and was very bland (2/10), and the horchata tasted more like milk than the sweet, flavorful drink I was hoping for (3/10). The chips were also way too salty. I send my driver to get all my employees lunch here like once a week.. for whatever reason I get nachos every week and they simply CANNOT get it right. We’re talking nachos with 4 or 5 ingredients and it’s wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. how pathetic.
