Varsity Theater — Local services in Provo

The dollar movies they play here are awesome. Especially great if you missed a film while it was in normal theaters. The audience is often a bunch of students who have already seen the film before, so people might be a little more nosier here than normal theaters. You ARE allowed to bring food in, so that's great. I've been twice. Both times, there were technical difficulties. The first time took perhaps 3 minutes to solve. The second time, the sound was not working. (Ironically, the showing was "A Quiet Place.") The staff had not solved it within 40 minutes of the start time, when I left. Furthermore, they did not have a plan by the time I left to refund us for our lost...

A simple theatre with a limited selection. Going here is fun for people wanting to experience a little bit of sheltered-college culture. The other people there are courtious, but they can get a little "wild" at times. If you are familiar with BYU "wild", then you know what I am talking about.
