I heard the Star Burger returned to the Star Bar and last night I finally got to taste what generations of Puebloans have shared with me in their storytelling. WOW. I had a triple and added Pueblo Chile and bacon. WOW. I also had the fresh cut fries. WOW. Need I say more. And so affordable. The steak knife down the center was brilliant. Add a schooner and you are all set. I live in the Grove so will be shaking up my routine and walking a block to the Star Bar regularly for a complete meal. Cash only. ATM on premises. Update: New cook is making killer Star Burgers in the dive bar tradition. Delicious...though I miss the dagger...
Read moreTold you I would find a place I didn’t like and even the dog doesn’t like it. Good things first…wait there none. I like dive bars but this gives dive bars a bad name. I had two drinks while playing pool and I caught cockroaches climbing on both. The bartender replaced the first one then when it happened again I just dumped the second one out. The other thing is be prepared to have “drink panhandlers” follow you around the bar. FYI they are not beautiful women asking for a drink and sitting next you because eyes locked across the bar…yep 40 something men that look like crawled out a ditch or just got...

My two brothers were 10 and 7🙂 We were uptown expensive place grandma said Mind our matters and no one else's that's what matters.
