Elegance Cafe Wayne — Restaurant in Radnor Township

Asked for a loaf of sourdough. Thought the shape looked odd so I asked if the girl was sure and she said yes and said I could call the other location where it’s baked. I called and asked if their sourdough looks like a squared loaf of bread and he said yes. I had hoped that it was just shaped different but after cutting into it, this is most definitely not sourdough bread. The place was nice, people were sweet, but this review is solely based on being sold the wrong item even after being told it was the correct item, twice.

Responding to owner comment: Thank you for acknowledging my review however my thoughts remain the same. Also, I did call Paoli after speaking to the Wayne location - both told me it was sourdough. If this truly is sourdough bread, it does not resemble in appearance or taste any other sourdough that I’ve had before, nor any that I can find on Google, so I still have my doubts and reservations. We’re eating it. It’s good. Tastes and looks like a loaf of white bread in our opinion.

The 2 star review is not a reflection of your establishment, but rather my experience. In most cases, you ask for A and receive B, that requires no stars. In this case, I thought the girl was very sweet and the place was clean. Seems like a nice place. I would try it again. Maybe not for a loaf of bread but rather a cup of coffee...

I have been ordering cakes here for years..... to be honest the cakes are great however customer service is not. I order a cake for my husbands 50th birthday at the Wayne location. Some how my cake ended up in Paoli. The owner a very rude lady said that I could drive up to pick up the cake in Paoli if I wanted to. Never offered to have someone deliver it to me or anything. She try to put it on me being that this is not the first time I order cakes from here. I even had their number stored in my phone. Not only that the owner told me that she was going to cancel the order and hung up the phone on me! What kind of Customer service is that? It was a vey special day for us and this lady ruined by canceling my order and being so rude. Now I’m left with no cake for a100 people party. Never...

I ordered an omelet sandwich with an iced mocha and cream cheese croissant. I loved the croissant, the size was generous. The sandwich was also of a good size, I felt it was worth the price I paid. The interior is gorgeous and fits the name. The wait for my sandwich was pretty long due to a miscommunication, which led to the bread being pretty soggy. The fact that I still loved it anyway should say a lot. I noticed that even though I saw espresso being pulled for my iced mocha, either it was for someone else and i was mistaken or it wasn't pulled correctly. I wound up leaving with chocolate milk, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I'll still come back and I'm sure those two minor issues would...
