I have been a long-time customer of fabārik in Raleigh and Iāve never experienced any issues until today. Surprisingly the issues stemmed from the salon manager Ryan. Upon walking into the store I was approached by Ryan and told that everything on the perimeter of the store was 25% off except for one table in the center of the store along with a rack sitting just beside it. I said thanks and looked around. I looked at the shoes and saw a pair that werenāt my favorite but hey for 25% off why not. So after looking around the only item that I decided I was going to purchase was the pair of shoes. I got up to the front counter and a different girl rang me up and gave me my total which was not including the 25% off. When I asked her about it she then proceeded to tell me that the top two shelves of shoes were not included. So again since they werenāt my favorite I decided against them. However, when I got outside and Ryan was standing there I did say something to her since she was the one that told me about the discount. Her response āoh yeah sorryā. Not The response I expected especially from the store manager which she made sure to inform me of her title when I asked for her name when she began to get rude with me. I get that mistakes happen but the customer should not be responsible for your mistake. I drive quite a ways to get out to this store and itās pretty disappointing that this is the service I get from this 21 year old kid running the store. Not ok. I run six salons myself and I would never give someone the attitude that I received today nor would I give someone an oh well attitude when Iām the one that made the mistake. I will be sure to share my experience with others especially all the people that Iāve recommended to come here over the years. Iāve seen many managers come and go from the store, I wanna start this off by saying I really liked the store. I had nothing but good things to say about Fabrik. the customer service is always good and the girls are always so sweet and helpful. The former manager Kristan was always so sweet and so kind and cared so much about us, she would always remember my upcoming events etc. That being said the new manager, I believe her name is Haley, has been short and unapproachable Iāve found myself skipping the store when Iām in cameron village unless itās a saturday. That being said I was scrolling on the Fabrik Raleigh instagram page looking for style ideas for my upcoming trip and I saw that a verified person commented on one of the posts. I usually tap the verified accounts because I found some great Raleigh lifestyle accounts that have commented previously. It took me to an account called āCount hazeā and I immediately recognized it as the manager. While I know everyone has a right to their own personal Instagram, it really surprised me with the kind of content she was posting it did not align with what I know Fabāriks ideals and values to be. I just wanted to make sure they were aware since the aesthetic is so different than what I know their brand value used to be. Itās made me completely uncomfortable to come shop when sheās there. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am obsessed with this store! The clothing is fabulous -- priced to sell and on-trend for younger women and older women alike because there are a variety of styles, lengths and cuts. I am in my early 50s and have been styled several times by the women working there, and love every piece I've purchased! I am currently wearing #Vervet wide-leg jeans, #OasisSociety tapestry boots, and #Fabrik brand Julie halter top in mustard. Did I say I was obsessed? OBSESSED. I also shop at more expensive boutiques and find the quality to be very similar, so this has been a delightful find. I almost don't want to give away the secret because it's a small boutique and things sell out! But I saw a negative review on here and decided to write my own review.
So that being said: The women who work there are VERY sweet. Every interaction I've had there, the stylists/salespeople have been kind and warm. The new manager is AWESOME and is spot-on with styling, and she's very down-to-earth! At most boutiques, salespeople let you browse and don't hound you. I find that by asking a question about some pieces or coming out of the fitting room when I try something on, I am letting salespeople know I am interested in more...
