I can’t say enough good things about Homebody Yoga. After my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis 12 years ago and dealing with mobility issues for the 2 1/2 years that followed, I honestly wasn’t sure I wanted to put myself through the work of rebuilding what my body could do. The thought of investing all that effort and energy, only to potentially have it wiped out by another relapse, felt too heartbreaking to risk.
But Homebody has completely changed my perspective. Every single instructor here is impressive. They each bring something special, and I genuinely love them all. They’ve created an incredible space where I don’t have to prove anything or push beyond what feels right. Instead, they’ve helped me rediscover confidence in my body and its capabilities, one class at a time ( I'm now at 106, seven months on).
What I love most is that there’s no pressure, no judgment, just genuine support for wherever you are in your journey. I’ve learned to celebrate the small wins and trust my body again in ways I didn’t think were possible.

Read moreHomebody is officially my favorite yoga studio. It's the best part of studios I've enjoyed in the past without any of the negatives (like lack of spirituality, image-focused attitudes, unfriendly fellow yogees and/or staff; I could go on).
The space is not only beautiful but practical - apt space to leave items during class and access them after class, showers and bathrooms that are gender inclusive and private, the studio space is heated substantially. There aren't mirrors in the studio which I was skeptical of at first but I promise you won't miss it.
OH AND the instructors are amazing. They encourage play and spirituality in practice (something amiss in a striking amount of yoga studios) and I've already met some amazing folks in the short time Homebody has been open.
Grateful to have found a new yoga...
Read moreHomebody Yoga is a warm, welcoming studio that feels like a sanctuary. I started with the intro month, which is a great deal, and instantly felt at home. The instructors are outstanding adn genuinely care, providing cues and assists to help you advance your practice, or get started if you're a beginner. The bright, clean space offers heated and unheated classes with thoughtful touches like props and towels. Showers are available too. Class options range from heated Vinyasa flows to restorative sessions. I love how every class ends with a group Om—it’s such a nice touch. Definitely worth...
