To Whom It May Concern. I hate that I'm having to write yet another review about the Kendra Scott store at Southpoint Mall that isn't positive. My first visit to the store several years ago was horrible and then the customer service got better. Now, it's taking a negative turn again. I went to the store on the evening (around 8 pm) of Friday, August 30th to redeem my half off birthday gift. I had to bring my almost 2 year old son with me. I managed to open the heavy door while pushing my son in his stroller through it. No one helped me but it appeared that all 3 of the ladies were with customers. However, no one said hello even when they finished with the things that they were doing. I looked around the store briefly and found a pair of earrings that I liked. I grabbed the pair of earrings and got on line. The cashier was very pleasant. She went to the back, bought me out a new pair of earrings and checked me on efficiently. However during the transaction, another employee came up to my cashier, interrupted our conversation and asked if she (my cashier) could help her. I thought that was pretty rude. My cashier stated that she would help her when she's done with me. I felt like I needed to get out of there; it didn't feel like a good place for me to shop any longer. Again I struggled to open the door by myself but I did with no assistance from the ladies. I held the door open as I pulled my out the door by the foot of his stroller. For our daughterās birthday, we bought her a ring, necklace and set of earrings. The turquoise stones in the both the necklace and ring have turned lighter in color. After talking with the sales rep the only explanation we received was ādonāt get the jewelry wet, this happens if exposed to light, itās the veining in the stone and make sure all lotions and perfumes are dry before putting on your ring/necklace.ā We were offered a one-time free replacement since it was purchased within a year (pieces were ONLY 1 month old) and the brand new ring arrived with even worse, light white discoloration. I am going to label this as cheap quality ācostumeā jewelry. I honestly donāt understand the hype over this brand and got burnt this round. I donāt normally follow trends, but when you see it being offered in Target, itās obviously not worth the high prices. From the first time I met Josalyn sheās made me feel welcome, understood and has personalized my experience. I tell her what Iām looking for and she always brings me amazing pieces that I should see or consider. She really cares about her customers. Iāve had friendly interactions with the other associates who were helpful as well. I just came back after 14 months and she still remembered me and I still had the pieces weād picked together on the other trips! The store is always bright beautiful and clean. I was in for a long time yesterday and all of the staff had great customer engagement with all the people who walked through asking if anyone needed help and trying to find what they need. This location is always a great experience and Iāve told my friends that were with me about Josalyn and the store and they had a wonderful first experience there.
