This place was absolutely adorable and had a wonderful selection of products. However the employees made me want to NEVER return. My family walked in and were immediately greeted upon walking in by a woman who came and stood right beside us, didn’t say a word, and watched us like a hawk about two feet away from us, staring straight at us. She then followed us around the store as we shopped, and as soon as I picked an item up she ran up to me and told me it had to be kept at the counter. She then came back to continue following us around the store again. After being made to feel uncomfortable we decided to leave. We went to the register and the woman followed us back there, didn’t even smile, and said “Are you done?” as my daughter was trying to pick out a caramel at the register. My daughter got embarrassed and didn’t even get one because she felt uncomfortable as well at that point. She made me show her my ID for a jar of salsa and was just so rude the entire time. I wish I wouldn’t have been followed around and made to feel uncomfortable because there was a lot I liked and would have gotten. It’s a small, but super cute & organized store that sells sauces, coffees, Tea, Honey, jewelry, cooking products, decorations, shirts, & etc., all made by NC natives. They also sell Veteran owned products. My Mother In Law & Husband brought several items. We’ll definitely visit again, next time...
