I'm very disappointed! My daughter and I received a gift card from her grandmother for her to get clothes for back to school during tax-free weekend. My daughter and I spent over an hour and a half going up and down the aisles looking for clothes that fit her. We were successful in finding multiple pairs of clothes. While checking out with the gift card we were denied and told by Clara G.(Manager) that my mother had to be present for us to use the gift card even though I had the receipt and could provide any information that they needed. There were no visible signs stating that you would need an identification to match a gift card. I've worked for retail for over 18 years and I understand lost prevention but if that was the case, they should have just taken my ID and my information. Instead, they preferred to see an 8 year old cry over clothes and they have forever lost a customer. Terrible...

Wasted my time driving in here from Inwood because I called and asked if they would take an exchange from TJ Maxx since it’s a sister store but I didn’t have the receipt but tags were still attached. I wanted to just exchange a Halloween blanket for another Halloween piece of decor so essentially I wouldn’t be getting any money back and be exchanging or spending money at this location. When I got to the register, the employee told me she wasn’t sure why the person who I spoke to on the phone told me that because they have different barcodes.
