Raven and Derek lacked empathy and customer service skills by failing to understand basic computer errors. Ever since covid, I have used Apple Pay with zero issue elsewhere. Today they said they needed to have a chip to receive payment (this is not how Apple Pay works). Anyway, despite the fact it was on THEIR END I was told there was nothing we can do. Smart-mouthed Raven asked ā€œwell can’t you like just go home and get it or something?ā€ does not seem to grasp that not everyone lives in the homes behind them. I explained I had a long drive and was concerned about my cold items - nobody cared. She then said she could get the manager but ā€œhe’s like, just gonna tell you the same thing I did.ā€ (These were the MIT’s by the way which is SCARY).

Derek came over and did not care. I asked if they could enter a credit card number THAT IS PASSWORD PROTECTED ON MY BANK APP and they said they couldn’t take it. Derek said the only thing I could do was go to Customer Service and have ALL TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS worth of food re-rung or (and I swear he said this) I COULD GET BACK IN LINE. Keep in mind, this is a Sunday, folks.

So as a last ditch effort I scramble to my car to find a physical card and run back in to find that Derek is already taking the cart to PUT THE FOOD BACK ON THE SHELVES DURING A PANDEMIC.

No remorse, no human values, I even donated to their kids fight hunger, told them I could give them all of my information - anything. But I was treated as if they could not care less and shrugged their shoulders. I haven’t been to this weis in years and I promise it will be a LONG time before or IF I return. I called Derek when I returned home to tell him how disappointed I was and I got a canned answer of ā€œsorry that happened.ā€ He clearly doesn’t care and I have never had such lackadaisical, lazy customer service.

I will be contacting anyone else who needs to be contacted as well as any surveys on my receipt (which surprise, I can’t do because I’m not a member). Completely furious with my experience today. If you offer a service and it does not work, that is YOUR PROBLEM, NOT the clients! Even though Derek claims to get this point, he did not exercise that.

Aside from the glitch, the lack of compassion and straight up sarcastic comments from Raven were not...

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Weis Market that left me baffled and furious. On Thursday, August 30th, around 6:15 pm, I purchased a pizza from this store for a family dinner. Little did I know, this would turn out to be a disastrous decision. As we excitedly opened the pizza box, we were met with a horrifying sight - a completely charred, hole-ridden, and utterly inedible mess that looked more like a black-sauced flatbread than a pizza.

My shock was amplified by the fact that we were almost home when this culinary catastrophe [photo attached] was unveiled.

Seeking a resolution, I promptly returned to the store, hoping for a refund and a replacement for the trouble. I explained the situation to an associate, who then referred the matter to her manager, Ms. Sarah Rose. What followed was a mind-boggling display of indifference and dismissiveness. The manager outright refused, claiming she could only offer one solution. Unacceptable is an understatement.

To add insult to injury, the entire ordeal dragged on for over 30 minutes, leaving me empty-handed and hungry, having to spend more money to salvage our dinner plans. But the worst part? The manager didn't have the decency to address me directly. Instead, she yelled instructions across the store, having the representative do her dirty work. It's a level of disrespect that's beyond comprehension.

If all of this wasn't enough to make me swear off Weis Market for good, I made a shocking discovery upon closer inspection of the item. The pizza, the was suppose to be a hot and fresh product, was made a staggering approx. 7 hrs prior or at 11:30am that morning. This raises serious questions about their quality control and overall care for their products.

At this point, it's crystal clear that Weis Market has zero regard for customer experience, product integrity, or even basic professionalism. I will not be returning to this store, and I strongly urge anyone considering shopping there to think twice. There are countless other options in the area that truly value their customers and take pride in delivering quality products. Weis Market's blatant disregard for both their products and customers is truly mind-boggling and utterly...

I give this store 1star only because it does carry a product that I can't find in other grocery stores. My experience with customer service is awful. I have used this store twice & sadly had the same cashier twice. My 1st experience with her was rude and embarrassing for me. She didn't really soesk, just pointed @ the store card reader. When I didn't understand what she wanted, she actually reached out, grabbed my hand & put my store card in front of the scanner. Needless to say I did get home & call the store manager to express my concern on her customer service. Apparently they didn't do much about it (even though they stated they would) because a few weeks ago I was in the store (my misfortune of the same cashier) As I stood in line, she continued to complain to her coworker & another patron how sick she has been & she wanted to go home early. As she processed my order through, I put my store card up to the scanner. I couldn't seem to get it to read. Well once again she rudely reached over without a word and grabbed my hand to get my store card to scan. This time, I asked her not to touch me. She promptly said "what?" I told her, "You have been complaining how sick you are, I do not need to catch it" Her response.... " I'm not a contagious sick, I gave Streep thought!" Seriously.... not only did she not care that she was putting her germs on me, she also cared a less that she reached out s grabbed my hand with no warning or without my permission!! In this day & age, you don't reach out and grab anybodies hand! Seriously Weiss.... Your cashiers (at least this one) needs training! Not only was I totally embarrassed that she treated me like an idiot in front of other customers, I am appalled that she is aloud to continue this type of customer service! I actually go out of my way to go to your store because you carry a certain product, but NO MORE! I will live...

The pharmacy is great, but the rest of the store is poorly run by bad corporate policies that result in awful customer service. So many self checkouts, hardly any employees to checkout my groceries. Very high prices, but I'm ringing up my own groceries!? Why???? Now part of the froozen section is broken, has not been fixed for more than 2 weeks (see photos)! I don't want to pay more money, for freezer burned items that I have to ring up myself while 4 to 5 employees watch to-I guess make sure there's no theft, while I do things myself. Terrible policies and decisions from corporate to provide poor customer service and increase profits. I've started shopping at different grocery chains that value and treat customer's better by letting staff checkout my groceries. Stores that also ensure food is kept at appropriate temperatures for safety! I'm concerned about what else is broken in the store and not fixed.

I just stopped in right before a massive snowstorm and pleasantly surprised. They still had all the essentials. Of course the thought of being snowed in, its kinda required to visit the bakery for treats. I must admit that the selections are quite impressive. And Delicious šŸ˜‹ I've been here before over the years, it's well stocked and large variety of things you can't find at the regular grocery stores. I also love the always changing front quick pickup area. They always have nice selections that fit the season.
