We dropped off a gold chain for repair on 12/21/17 was advised we would receive a call on how long it would be and the cost. No call received. We visited the store after Xmas to check the status. Kyle I believe his name was Kyle, apologized we didn't get a call. He called the jeweler for us to check the status. He advised the cost would be around $15-20, we agreed and was advised we'll get a call when it's completed. No call received. Yesterday 1/8/18, we visited the store to check the status. The gentlemen we recognized from the drop off was concerned we didn't get a call and that they still had our necklace. As he attempted to call the jeweler, the red head lady sitting there repeatedly mumbled, if its a repair he pushed it to the side because he's busy. Repeated excuse on why we weren't call, why it wasn't fixed because it was sent as an estimate. Once again our chain was not fixed. We decided to request for our item back because the two ladies there were rude and did not want to help. The red head advised she would call us when the jeweler returned the necklace later that same afternoon. No call, of course. Today my husband called to check for our item, the red head advised she was just about to call us, riiiiight, yesterday right? My husband arrives to pick up our item. The red head, rude, and has more excuses for her poor way of conducting business and lack of professionalism. She had more awareness of her phone then anything else. As my husband leaves she sends him of with, "YOU Have a GREAT day, sir!" filled with sarcasm. My husband calls her out on her sarcasm. I hope all customers saw how unprofessional and disrespectful she was to potential clients who were going to spend or invest their time and money in that store. It's unfortunate sour apples like her and her sidekick ruin sales opportunity for the kind gentlemen like Kyle and the young man we dropped the necklace off too. Maybe it's because my husband is black, I'm asian, our boots were dirty, and our hair was messy. I don't know, whatever it was, she chose to judge...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to promote this company, but no longer. My spouse and I purchased our wedding rings and a lifetime warranty from this location 25 years ago. Over the years, they honored the warranty several timesāmost notably when the main diamond in my ring fell out and was lost; they replaced it with the warranty l. It happened two more times after that, and each time they covered the cost to send it out for repair under the warranty replacement of the stone if lost or putting it back in if I had been able to find it when fell out. They also regularly cleaned the rings whenever we visited the mall as well as sent it out to repair the prongs when worn one time. However, the last time the diamond fell out, everything changed. They denied any record of past repairs or maintenance and voided the warranty entirely, insisting I would have to pay for the full repairāat a cost estimated to be three times more than what I originally paid for the ring. While searching their new and old systems, they asked if four different past addresses and old phone numbers were mineāall of which were correct. Clearly, they had access to my historical information, yet still claimed I had never brought the ring in for service. When I asked how they had all my old addresses if I had supposedly never come in, they had no answer. I gave them ample time and opportunity to locate their recordsāboth digital and paperābut they failed to find any documentation of the multiple repairs, cleanings, and diamond replacements they had provided under the warranty and the times they had sent it out for the repairs. This experience has shown me that the company is counting on customers losing their jewelry or their marriages so they never have to honor the lifetime warranty. Their integrity and customer service have significantly declined. Do not rely on them for a long-term commitment pieceāthey will not honor the warranty when it truly matters. I will never recommend Harry Ritchieās again and will pay a different jeweler to repair my ring. They will not receive another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't reccomend getting any jewelry from this store. My husband's wedding band has been sent in 4 times for repairs with our lifetime warranty. Apparently they only replace the band not just repair so the new ring sent back is no longer under warranty. The corporate office sent a nasty email to me that we had used up our lifetime warranty on the ring 4 times already so we would have to pay in full to have the diamond replaced. This is not a lifetime warranty by any means. Even being closed from covid made the warranty invalid as we did not come in to get the ring cleaned during that year. I wouldn't trust their warranty or their corporate office. The girl at the counter never even said that our warranty was no longer good if she did I would never have left the ring with them in the first place they don't log properly when you do bring your rings in for cleaning my husband being a man was clueless to the fact that he needed to have it under my name to be cleaned since I bought his ring in the first place. He just brought it in to have them clean it. So yeah his fault on that but seriously you think that the employees would make sure to ask first if there is an account for that ring. I think it's their way to get away with false warranty guidelines... we now have a wedding band missing a diamond because of it. I wouldn't spend 400 on a missing diamond that is smaller than a flea on a dog. I can buy my husband a new band elsewhere...
