Sit 'n Sleep — Local services in Redlands

I picked out a mattress that was suggested, but it didn’t work out due to the height of the mattress being too high for me to comfortably get into.

I spoke to Shaun and Dalia who jumped through hoops offering several different solutions to try to remedy the situation without having to return the first mattress purchased. But in the long run, it just didn’t work out and I had to return it.

Just know They do charge you a restocking fee of $260. To return the mattress.

I was tricked into purchasing another mattress with a bait and switch type situation. I am highly disappointed in this company while they seem to work things out for me in the beginning and we’re nice. Return the other mattress. They said I would get a credit for it and the new Tempur-pedic mattress. That was $4000 that the credit would bring it down to around $2000. And I have the proof it’s all in paperwork, but we were misled in a sneaky kind of way not only that but when we left the store after we thought we had made a good deal, we saw Teddy, laughing with men that work there inside I can only imagine that they were laughing about us because we were fooled, I would not recommend this company!

No-fault to Shaun and Dahlia. They went above and beyond, but they had nothing to do with the paperwork or the financing so they are not at fault, but we feel extremely taken advantage of and pretty stupid now!

I remember discussing this with Teddy who is the one who is taking care of all of this as far as the paperwork and getting us financed and I kept saying how can you say that we’re going to take $2000 off a $4000 mattress because we return the other mattress it just was not adding up but we were made to believe that we would be finance for $2000 and whatever changed it was so now my financing came in at over $4000, I am extremely low income, and I explain that to him in the beginning. I’m disabled and on section 8 housing and they really took it advantage of two old ladies who are disabled. 😢💔 update: I purchased this back in 2023 and it’s now October 2025 and I STILL paying on it and getting charged out the butt with interest. I filed an appeal against them and they denied it even though I have proof of paperwork saying that the charge was only supposed to be 2000 not $4000 be aware just because you signed something and they tell you you’re gonna be paying $2000, you might end up paying double that so be careful. I would never suggest this place again and if I were you, I’d be very wary of getting your mattress or any purchase...

I arrived around 5:45 Friday evening. The store was quite and I had Dave to myself. I mention this because having one on one service when making a pricey purchase in my opinion is an absolute.

Dave came right up to greet me near the front entrance. He extended his hand, introduced himself, and warmly welcomed me to the store. His accessment included lots of questions about what I wanted. He made small talk telling me about himself, his professional experience, and Sit N Sleep the company. He let me know in no uncertain terms that he knew his product, and those of the competition. I was impressed but stayed cool and resistant. After all I had made up my mind to shop elsewhere, but was just taking a look see before purchasing.

Once the initial assessment was done, he offered me their computerized mattresses test to determine which category I would most likely enjoy. This included his finding a pillow of my choosing, lying on my back, and then, in my preferred position. This was a first for me, and not offered by the competitor. It determined that I was a Red. Then a few more questions and Dave was ready to find my mattress.

Dave is amazing. His strategy to make the process fun was hard to resist. I try to not be easily persuaded, but he is a comsumerate salesperson. I spent more than I planned, received more than I expected, and had fun doing the price tango with Dave. It was a win win in the end.

Another big plus, the product was delivered ahead of schedule. The delivery and set up was conducted professionally and efficiently by two nice polite men.

So far I am very pleased with my decision to shop with Sit N Sleep and the service I received from Dave and his support team...

We just purchased a mattress today from Sit ‘n Sleep in Redlands, and we had the absolute pleasure of working with Walter Caballero. He made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy, informed, and actually enjoyable.

We came in knowing we needed a high-quality mattress that would last and support us well — but we weren’t sure where to start. Thanks to Walter, we found the Kingstown Keybridge firm mattress with a split head, which felt amazing in-store. He also helped us get a great deal and walked us through the financing process so we could stay within our budget.
