I had the chance to check out both Game On! locations while I was in the Rehoboth area. The location in Tangier Outlets was alright, it has a ton of space, but it didn't seem like it was filled w/too much though. I found a copy of a classic Genesis game that I've been looking for, and it was CIB. I understand that independent game stores need to make a profit, but it was $10 above average eBay pricing and even what I've run across at conventions. The manual and cartridge were super clean, and if it was for moisture damage on the box art, I was almost willing to roll w/the tourist pricing if the shop was willing to be more flexible on the price, but that was a no go. After that, I made way over to broadwalk location, which was located in what looked like a converted beach house. It was packed w/games, and honestly, a little crowded, but it had a character and a nice vibe. Basically what I really like to see in independent game shops. I didn't roll all the way up to Rehoboth to leave empty handed and was able to find a nice current gen XSX game brand new for a very solid price. Having never seen a physical copy of this game in the wild, and being a title that I wanted to check out, it was an easy pickup. The next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely check out the broadwalk...
Read morePretty bad selection for the most part almost no essential games or rare games to be seen mostly sports titles or bargain bin titles prices were a little high for how little the games impressed. Very lacking selections for systems like N64, and other cart based systems. I'm giving them a 2 because even though they had a bad selection on old games this place had really unique PS4 titles that you don't see many places as well as they were stocked up on consoles decently. This review is more of a critique than an angry review. I want every retro video game store to succeed but it was just...
Read moreThese guys are the real deal, we visited them the second that we got to Rehoboth Beach and it was awesome to see an independent video game store really care about their customers. They've got a lot of hidden treasures and they're super nice. They also offer a warranty on any game even if you don't live in the area you can mail it back to them which is honestly unheard of in this day and age. Make the trip, it's super worth it. Best video game store in the area by far. Thank you Dan for working with me on the Capcom fighting game collection,...
