When I became a mother I was recommended to go to Biggest Little Baby for a Milk Makers Circle, only 5 days postpartum. It was the best decision I ever made for my new journey in motherhood.
Biggest Little Baby is a true gem for families in our community. Not only does it offer a wide range of baby products and essentials, but it also goes above and beyond by providing many different support groups, educational classes, and fitness classes all while maintaining a warm, family-oriented atmosphere.
The fitness classes offered are simply fantastic. As a parent, it's often challenging to find time for self-care and stay active. However, BLB has found the perfect solution by incorporating fitness into parenthood, providing a play room right outside the studio. The classes are designed to cater to both parents and their little ones, as they’re so very welcome to join in, making it a win-win situation. It's incredible to witness how they create an environment where families can bond, exercise, and have fun together.
What sets BLB apart is their genuine dedication to being family-oriented. From the moment you step through the door, you can feel the welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. They understand the unique needs of parents and go out of their way to make the shopping experience enjoyable for everyone. Whether you need advice on baby products, are shopping for a gift, or simply want to connect with other parents, the staff is there to support you.
The boutique itself is well-organized and stocked with a fantastic selection of baby and toddler supplies. You'll find everything from cloth diapers (my favorite), to clothing, and feeding accessories, to toys and educational materials, the list goes on and on. The attention to detail and quality of their products are impressive. Plus, they often host family-oriented events and workshops, creating a sense of community among parents and children.
I highly recommend Biggest Little Baby to any parent or people with littles in their life. It's THE place where families can come together, nurture their well-being, and make lasting friendships, and...
Read moreCircle of Babies has been a lifeline for me during the first year of my daughter’s life as I move into this new season of life as a mother. To say I didn’t know what to expect as far as how life would change, how I would change, and how I would struggle to cope with not being able to be “perfect” at something, the most important job I’ve ever had and will ever have, is a massive understatement. After she was born, I experienced very intense post partum anxiety and constant feelings that I was failing as a mother. I needed a lot of help and I got a lot of help, thankfully, in an outpatient group therapy program where I learned I wasn’t alone and that my struggles were so common. But after I discharged from that program, I was terrified that I wouldn’t be okay on my own, that I would fall apart. I made a conscious effort to seek out community, and that’s exactly what Biggest Little Baby and Circle of Babies has been for me. It has been a judgment free, supportive safe space for me to feel seen and heard by other parents. Mostly moms, but occasionally dads too, which brings a different but helpful perspective too. I have shared and held space for others to share the hard things, everything from struggles with breastfeeding, sleep deprivation, feelings of unworthiness and that I’m a bad mom, struggles with my partner and other family, anxiety about harm coming to my baby or worry about reaching developmental milestones, panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, anger, sadness, and sometimes overwhelming loneliness as a stay at home mom. I have never once felt judged or felt that I should have kept quiet. I have always felt seen and heard. And I have been able to give that gift to others. I have also gotten to see my baby girl grow and start to interact with the other babies who are close in age. It’s a beautiful thing to witness them experiencing milestones and awakening to the world. I have met some of the kindest people I know, and I feel less alone. Circle of babies is a blessing in my life and we are so fortunate that this space exists in...
