First time in a Harbor Freight and it was not a good experience.
I had a terrible experience. The old Bait and Switch. I went there expecting to buy an item they advertised online, and I confirmed they had it in stock. The cashier confirmed it with the store computer — it showed three units available. This is s big item very hard to impossible to misplace three of them. However, when I arrived, the employees either kept the item for themselves, kept to resell online or are just not good at their job and could not locate them in the store (again this is a big item). The deal seemed too good to be true. It’s clear they were dishonest about their stock, and I felt completely fooled. I figured I’d call and ask if they could put it to the side while I was on my way. The guy said let me check to see if we have one on hold 30 minutes on hold and the phone got disconnected I call back he said let me check again even after I mentioned I was just put on hold Joe all the way to the store while on hold for 20 minutes when I got inside the workers were just talking to each other and no one was looking for anything. Read moreThe store overall is good however the cashier Nakeera was very rude towards my mother telling her with attitude to put her own number into the computer after my mom asked if she was going to ask for her ITC number. Not only that but she lashed out and flicked the computer towards my mom. Nakeera was on her phone the entire time talking to someone on her airpods ignoring my mom but once my mom put her phone number in for her ITC membership Nakeera said under her breath that it wasn't worth the hassle.
