UPDATE: After speaking to two managers, we were able to work out a resolution. We greatly appreciate their understanding of the situation. Not only did they agree to dismiss the costs to the work that had been done, but they also are very willing to launch an investigation into the employee as well as provide additional training to all the sales representatives to ensure that a similar situation does not occur again. Through our conversations with management, we were able to see that the unethical behavior of the sales representative who came to our house is NOT reflective of the company’s standards. Thank you for helping us.
ORIGINA COMMENT READ THIS!!! This company is a huge scam—the sales representatives will say anything to get you to sign which includes straight up lying to you. A sales representative, Mohammad Abusaad, came to my house initially claiming to inform me about a program sponsored by Oncor. He looked at the A/C unit and then the electrical grid box and then said that he wanted to inform us about the program. He eventually got to talking about solar panels and all of the benefits guaranteed from installing them. After the conversation, he had me sign a proposal to get a more accurate price on the whole project since there are a lot of factors that could affect the final cost. I informed him that I wanted to look into the whole solar program first before making a decision. He prompted me to sign a form which was only a proposal and not an actual agreement and that it was just to get more information regarding the whole process. Both my girlfriend and I asked several times that we did not want to commit to anything and he reassured us that the document we were signing was just a proposal. We mentioned that we would not get a chance to review the documents any time soon due to being busy with work. A company worker came by to look at the roof and attic and mentioned nothing stating that the entire process was already begun. It’s been about a week and we are now being told that the entire process has begun and permits are being sent out. I got a call from Moe where he asked if I could sign the documents sent to my email (which I haven’t been keeping too much of an eye on due to being so busy with work) and told him that I never agreed to anything. He said that the document that I signed was an agreement, not a proposal and that if I were to cancel, I would have to pay 15% of the entire project which is ridiculous. I mentioned that he guaranteed us that we were not committing to anything by signing but he just shrugged it off and kept bringing up the threat to charge 15%. IF what we were signing was a commitment, then why did he not inform us that we would have 3 days to cancel after signing? We found that out when we called Dynamic SLR customer service. I informed customer service about the situation and she also brought up the 15% fee, which is once again ridiculous because we mentioned several times that we did not want to commit to anything nor were we told that we would have 3 days to cancel. The customer service representative said that there must have been some miscommunication but that was not the case. The sales representative straight up lied to us and took advantage of the fact that we were tired (since he came after we returned from work) and conned us into signing what he said was a proposal when in actuality it was a full on agreement. The customer service representative told us that the project would be put on hold and that a sales manager would contact us. No matter what excuse is given by the company, this is FRAUD and will be reported everywhere because they are straight up lying to us. To add to this, I reviewed other comments on bbb and found a similar complaint on 3/10/2023 where they were under the same situation which makes me realize that this is not a single occurrence and could possibly even be a part of their...
Read moreSlimy company. They called my husband out of the blue and acted like they were from the city, saying that our neighborhood had higher energy use than the city would like and that we might qualify for "Take a Load off Texas" to get FREE energy efficient windows/insulation/other energy-efficient measures for our home, and that we needed to schedule an inspection to see if we qualified. They did not make it clear that they were DynamicSLR and definitely led us to believe that they were with the city/Oncor. They said it was important for BOTH spouses to be there, and so we set an appt for 1 and arranged to make both of ourselves available.
Day of the appt, we received a call in the morning to confirm that their rep would arrive between 1-1:30. They did not show up until 2:33pm. I pointed out to the rep that he was late and he did not apologize, just said that he wasn't the original rep who talked to us. (So what? Your company should be able to get appt times right.)
These people are NOT with the city. This is just another company that wants to sell you solar panels with the most confusing sales pitch. Rep was rude, when we asked questions to try to understand the bizarre deal he was trying to offer us he was just like "I don't understand why you don't see this is a good deal."
I've done sales before. Good sales reps do exist, but there is a reason that sales gets a bad reputation. If you are in the market for solar panels or other energy efficient measures, you don't need to settle for working with a sales rep that makes things confusing or belittles you for asking questions or doubting that their product is a good fit for you. (He was very rude when we pointed out that everyone we know who has invested in solar panels has failed to get the return on investment they were expecting from it)
Here are my tips for you to help with any of your future needs where you might have to work through a sales rep:
I like to use Best Picks when selecting contractors. I've used their selections for several different fields of work and been happy with everyone I've used. Referrals from friends & family are also a great resource.
Here are the qualities to look for in a good sales rep:
All members of the company are on the same page as each other and give a clear representation of what's going on. (No pretending to be a company you're not, none of this person A says B, but person C says D, nonsense).
They respect your time. If you set up an appointment to talk or meet with someone, they need to be on time and if they can't be on time they should call in advance letting you know they're running late and apologize. (And it should be a GOOD reason they're not keeping the original appt time)
They make it clear what their product or services is, how much it will cost, and what benefits it has. Even if it's a complex service they offer, they need to be able to explain it in a way that anyone can understand. There shouldn't be any talking in circles or obfuscating prices.
If you have questions, they answer them clearly AND are willing to admit when their product or service isn't a good fit for someone. Not every product will meet the needs of every person, and a good sales rep will recognize if it's not a good fit. He does everyone a service by not wasting the time of a disinterested prospect so that he doesn't damage his company's reputation with that person, and so that he has more time to talk to the people who DO have a use for the product he has to sell.
This company scores 0/4 on my radar for good sales technique. I would avoid them, there's plenty of other companies who can sell you what they offer without being slimy about it if you're in the market for...

ORIGINAL COMMENT I would not ever do business with this company!! They truly try to scam you into business with them. I had a representative named Mohammed come to my home on 10/30/23. A week prior to him coming I received a call from Dynamic SLR (his company) claiming to be Oncor and stating that they needed to come out to inspect the home to see why we were experiencing larger electricity bills. I didn’t think anything of it because I’m a new homeowner and Oncor is a pretty well known company. So when Mohammed showed up I invited him into my home and it wasn’t long before speaking with him that I realized our conversation was going to pretty much be a sales pitch regarding solar panels. I listened to his pitch and informed him that I didn’t want to make any decisions without consulting my fiancé. He understood (or so I thought) and presented me with something to sign. I once again told him that I didn’t want to sign or get into anything without consulting my fiancé. He assured me that this was just a proposal to get pricing on the project and to see if I would even be eligible to participate in this government funded program. So like an idiot I signed. He looked at my electric box and A/C unit. A few days later a company came by to look at the roof, attic and electrical box again and no one had mentioned any process beginning. So then a week later I’m receiving emails telling me to schedule a time to set up my installation. At this point I’m super confused because I’m like I never agreed to anything and I still hadn’t really sat down and went into complete detail with my fiancé due to being so busy. So I get a call from Mohamed and tell him my fiancé’s not really wanting to move forward due to it being better programs and incentives out there. He tells me that he would like to come by and give him the presentation. I told him I’d run it by my fiancé and get back to him. A couple days go by and he reaches back out and I pretty much tell him that we want to hold off and focus on other things with our new home. He becomes aggressive over phone and tells me that I’m going to be charged 10% of an almost $50,000 contract that I signed because they’ve moved forward with the project and got permits and materials specifically for my home. I told him I never agreed to anything because my fiancé and I didn’t really discuss anything and I never gave him the go ahead to move forward with anything. I told him this seems very fishy and at this point there was no chance of being in business and if I had to I would seek out a lawyer. His response was “well you better go ahead and get a lawyer.” A few minutes later his manager Amir calls and tries to smooth over the situation and I tell him exactly what happened. He apologizes and then tries to resell me the solar panels. I tell him I’m uninterested and he then proceeds to tell me that it’s no longer 10% but now 15% that I’ll be charged if i were to cancel the contract even after I repeatedly mentioned to him that I wasn’t informed that I was signing a contract. His response was basically you got a copy sent to your email so you should’ve read it. My complaint is not the only one like this. There are a couple others. One about a month ago from today on google and another written on 3/10/23 on the BBB website....
