The floor of the room was filthy. Forget mopping, it had visibly not been swept in a long time. The a/c kept the room barely comfortable, not even close to cool. We had a reservation for four people, and there were 3 towels in the room. One bed was on an obvious angle/decline, like one said was about 8 inches higher than the other. Even for a Quality Inn, the breakfast was particularly atrocious. Every employee I ran into seemed like he didn't know what was going on. After I arrived late at night and got to bed well after midnight, housekeeping knocked on the door at 7:45. I was suprised not only that it was so early, but also that they were going to service the room at all. I said I didn't need the room made up and to please leave. When I went out for the day, we put the DO NOT DISTURB hanger on the door, but when we returned, someone had obviously been in the room, BUT IT WASN'T MADE UP. Things were moved around, but bed weren't made and towels weren't hung up. This isn't about not making up the room, but entering for no reason and moving stuff around without doing the work. It seemed like my things were just gone through. I know you have the right to enter, but this isn't about that. It seemed super sketchy, which brings me to my last point. I left my wallet in the room when we departed. We went to the gas station next door to fill up and get a cup of (decent) coffee, which my wife paid for. We went back to the hotel, but I'd left our keycards in the room, so I stopped by the front desk and asked for a keycard to Room 117. The attendant gave me the keycard no questions asked. No request for ID. No request for a name. THIS IS A MAJOR SECURITY THING YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF. I hope no one commits an act of violence against a lodger at your hotel after having been advised of how the front desk operates.
The TV had a lot of good channels,...
Read moreBeware this hotel appears to be a great looking hotel at 1st glance. They do not offer any beef whatsoever so it is not kosher they also do not offer a substitute for the coffee mate creamer. One of my pictures is somebody else's hair I found in the freahly made bed before I laid down I checked edge to edge. The back of the TV set the gutss have been removed so you can not plug in an HDMI device you can only watch the TV stations that they are letting you watch. There was no alarm clock in the room. They do offer complimentary toiletries that are low quality. They do not offer an elevator service nor do they have one on premises. There are no amenities at this hotel like a workout room pool etc. They need to hire better quality housekeeping as my pictures was show that was behind the bed and I pulled out the dresser so you could see whatever that was on the floor? MOLD?BUG EGGS? I was not about to get really close to find out. If I could give this hotel no stars I would give them no stars unfortunately I have to give them a minimum of one. The only thing positive I have to say about this hotel is the staff is very friendly of course they don't own the place they...
Read moreVery friendly staff. The manager and lobby attendant were really nice and made me feel very welcome.
The lobby had a nice recent renovation. It was clean and stylish. They also had a nice breakfast bar which i was not expecting. It was clean and organized, and there was plenty of space to dine. They expanded the lobby into a room next door and added a fitness room. I used it and had a nice little workout, even though i was not expecting to have that.
People complain that there is a cemetery next door. I do not understand the problem. it's across the parking lot, but why would that be at all a problem? They are the quietest neighbors.
Location is great, right off the highway, but not right next to the road so you do not have too much noise from brakes and cars and stuff. A couple hundred meters back from the main drag is nice. Gas stations and convenience stores and fast food right there.
The room i stayed in was spotless. Very clean and well stocked. I have two little kids and we all felt great and clean and safe there. I would...
