I went to FIT to lose weight. To start the process blood work is required, to receive semaglitude. My blood work showed I was a diabetic and the NP could not manage my diabetes and administer my weight loss plan including semaglitude. Understandable. I was grateful I became aware of my diabetes! The next day I was at my primary drs office. The initial payment of $198 was due when seeing an aide to draw blood, weight etc. I asked if these blood test could be ordered by my primary as I have health ins. It’s possible but you would have to see our provider and payment is due today, we need our own tests, to which I wondered why, soI paid. This was money which was spent that was totally unnecessary! On the day of my appt I was not seen in person but vía vídeo, not what I signed up for! After seeing my primary physician blood work was ordered again, and guess what the semaglitude was prescribed for me with a very low co pay. This program is $585 per month for weekly weigh ins, injections by an unlicensed pro to see you and it leads me to wonder how semaglitude is being administered at their cost. Segalitude is $985 per mo for 7mg daily tabs? Not complaining that’s a deal but there are no generic substitutes for this drug, why so cheap? Just fyi I would recommend trying to save yourself some money having and time find out if you are a candidate for this drug. Ask more questions than I did, and definitely found out why this drug is cheaper than market value, is it truly semaglitude? I will say, that without this program, and my dr administering semaglitude to me, I haven’t paid much out of pocket money. Check with your physician see if they can help with this, med ins premiums are very high, if your ins will pay, save yourself $585 a month! I have lost 13 lbs I 5 wks, been being weighed every 3 wks, don’t have a cheering section, but have remained positive. I can’t attribute semaglitude to my success. I do water aerobics 5 days per week and swim laps 4 hours per...
Read moreI had an appointment 5/5/2021, called the Rio Rancho office to reschedule, left a message to return my call and nothing ever came about it. That same day Maria the physician messaged me to start my appointment, I messaged back to let her know I was unable to make it that I had already called. She then indicated she “would reschedule for 5/10/2021, with another physician (Raymi)”. Today 5/10/2021 I was ready for my appointment at 1:20, took time out of my day and no one ever called me. I called the Rio Rancho office twice, no one ever picked up. I messaged both physicians asking what I’m supposed to do, almost 30 minutes later, Raymi (physician) messaged me and said she never seen me on her schedule. My mom then used her phone to call the RR office and finally someone picked up, my mom also being a patient at fit medical. Now having to reschedule my appointment for another day! All because there was a poor lack of communication with...

I cannot thank them enough for helping me fit comfortably into my wedding dress, but more importantly I learned about what my body needs to keep healthy. The staff were always courteous and worked with me to establish a program that I was comfortable with. The program itself is much easier than I thought it would be, so I am super happy and grateful for the entire team at FIT Medical...
