I just had a miserable experience at Mail, Print & Ship at 4300 Ridgecrest in Rio Rancho. I'd been there before because it's convenient and I like to support small local businesses. I had them mail three packages for me-- the man who waited on me was clearly new and it took a long time for him to input the addressees and attach labels and postage. About a week later one of the packages was returned to me due to insufficient postage. I brought it back into the shop where the owner told me it didn't come from them-- "We don't use labels like that." I insisted so he looked up the name of the addressee on his computer and sure enough the name appeared. The owner said-- "I've seen you in here before-- you must have sent something to him in the past." I went home, thinking maybe I had a senior moment-- then realized I had the original receipt. Sure enough the name of the addressee was on it (as well as the other two packages I had sent) and the postage amount was exactly the same as on the returned package. So I went back to the shop, showed the owner the receipt and was shocked when he still insisted it wasn't sent by Mail, Print and Ship. He offered to refund me the small amount (less than $5.00) and I accepted-- for me it wasn't about the money, it was the principle. This guy clearly has a problem with admitting he makes mistakes and obviously has no respect for his customers. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

I had gone a couple of weeks ago and printed a bunch of pages for a reasonable price. Went today for one 8x11 regular paper, black and white, I sent it to the email as a pdf, no work needed. I got charged $2.89dlls for this. This is an abusive price for 1 page that required no work.

Excellent service has so much to offer. Hidden gem in the city of Rio Rancho. Next time you need to ship I would go here over UPS store or the post office

With how hard it is for someone to open up their own business and Rio Rancho it’s absolutely pathetic how this owner chooses to treat his clients and run his business. There have been so many inconveniences done to me at this location. It’s hard to list them all. But the icing on the cake that has me leaving this review is that I sent over an email with clear instructions of the type of copies I want in the body of the email like I have been instructed by the owner several times when I have shown up there and the email I sent over has been deleted. Today though it was really important because I needed some things for a job interview. When I get there, I was told the owner was deleting emails earlier so we don’t have your prints please re-email them to me. I didn’t have time on my schedule to do that and wait around for them to handle the other five customers who were extremely upset about the weight and treatment in there. Go to a FedEx or UPS I really hate not supporting Local but in this case you will be better off. To the owner of this place think about your in consumer more before you decide to just delete an email because it’s inconveniencing you. Think about the way you talk to your customers who across from you and remember that it’s a human standing in front of you not an inconvenience. And lastly, think about whether or not you would like to stay in business going forward and if you’re over it already close up shop so someone else can open up a local business and treat people the way they deserve...

This place is great. Here is why. I came to them with an odd shaped item that could be bent easily in shipment. It was supposed to be hand delivered but due to CVD19 I had to ship them. I had purchased some heavy duty package envelopes but didn't feel they were sturdy enough. I show up on Saturday at 2 pm. I didn't know they closed at 2 pm on Saturday. Nevertheless the owner let me in and said he'd take care of me. When I told him that my situation might not be simple and that I could come back he insisted that he stay and help.

I explained my situation and had assumed I was going to have to spend quite a lot on more packing material before I could ship them. He asked that I give him a minute and he walked to the back of his store. He came back with several old boxes. I was confused. He then began to cut the boxes up so that the could slide into the packaging I had already purchased somewhere else and provide a rigidity necessary to make sure the items inside didn't bend.

He could have sold me anything as I was out of options. Yet he solved the problem at zero cost to me and a lot of effort to him. In the end he shipped my 6 packages I had today. I don't think I'll ever ship from anywhere else after that...
