Typical Aldi...lots of parking, ample carts, friendly staff, store & restrooms kept clean. They are pretty consistent with the stocking of their standard inventory selections and if something's out of my reach, I've never had a problem finding a staffer to willingly assist. I go there once monthly to stock up on basics, I don't usually try there for a quick run-in trip as they're "across town" from me....Update, Aldi is now mostly self-checkout, and I hate self-checkout, since I'm not getting any employee discount to do their job, I have no problem renting the cart & bagging my own stuff, I knew that when I started shopping there. The self-checkout locations are very small, so I don't know how anyone with a full-to-the-brim cart, would even know where to put everything. Read more,much bigger and more aesthetic and more selection than most aldi stores. They have 2 aisles of "stuff" (garden gnomes in summer, stocking stuffers in winter type). They also have alcohol. As with all aldi a great selection of gluten free, fit and active, no dye, healthy delicious food. I prefer aldi brand over any other. If you've never tried g free brownie mix you are missing out! (Aldi brand spray whip and chocolate syrup are delightful on top) I've heard it's related to trader Joe's and believe it. Healthier and cheaper by far than any other chains around! You need a quarter to get a cart but you get it back when you put your cart back (the cashiers have lent me one the few times I've forgotten) Bring your own bag, buy one for a few cents or grab an empty box off a shelf to use.
