Buyer should definitely beware. My wife and I ordered a new kitchen table, and recliner. We were told the table and chairs would be here on 2/22, the recliner on 2/16, and the bench on 3/2. We received the table 3/1 but no recliner yet. We never heard back on the bench and recliner and finally called them on 3/22 to see what was going on. They said they had received our bench and we could come pick it up(we paid for delivery). We asked about the recliner and they had no answers but would look into it. We picked the bench up on the 25th and again asked where our recliner was, and were told they would call us on the following Monday. We told them we really didn’t need it anymore, and would like a refund. Still no follow up call by Tuesday 4/1. I called again and they said they would only refund me 350$. I said it wasn’t the correct amount unless they had over charged us for the table. Roger called me back offering me 450$ this time. I told him it was still not correct based off the price we had paid them. We were comparing them to Ashley furniture and they were 1299$ for the table and 649 for the recliner at the time of purchase. We had paid them 2000$ plus 69.99 for delivery. It ended up 30$ less than Ashley combined total for the overall package. However, they combined the price under one line item making the cost of the table1550$, and making the chair 450$. 249$ more than Ashley on the table. The owner posted on another review that he would beat Ashley’s price by 5% no questions asked. Roger once again started back pedaling and stated that when we purchased our items that Ashley’s was selling it for 1600$ at the time. I sent him a picture of the quote we received directly off Ashley’s computer that showed him the exact price, which we had shown him at point of sale( it was dated and time stamped) he was extremely frustrated with me by this time because he had run out of excuses and lies and told me he would call me back. He called the owner, and the owner offered me 500$ this time. Either that or I could have the chair. He wasn’t offering me 500$ plus tax either bc he said they paid our sales tax as our original discount. So I ended over paying for a table and chairs in the end and beating Ashley’s by 5% wasn’t honored in the end either. If I could do a 0 star review I would. I am going to make this business as famous as I can on social media platforms so others don’t get taken advantage of. At the end of the day, I hope 120$ was worth losing future business from myself and hopefully anyone else...
Read moreMy partner and I have been taken on a ride by these people. We went in about a month ago, with a specific requirement of this couch needing to fit down a 30” stairwell. The gentleman we worked with told us this would not be a problem for the couch we liked, he even brought out a tape measure and explained how they can bring it down at an angle to meet this requirement. 2-3 weeks later my fiancé gets a call telling us the delivery people have arrived and are ready to set up our couch. This was a surprise to us as, we were told they would call to set up a day with us. Then… the couch didn’t fit down the stairs. I will admit I should have measured the door jamb which was a 29” wide, but some of the pieces needed at least 40-44” of space to get down the stairs (delivery people gave us this measurement). Last week when this all happened we were told that they wouldn’t be charging the 25% restocking fee, today I had my partner call, where I had him ask if the replacement couch was ordered and if measurements were checked. We were then informed that they would be charging us a $900 restocking fee. There is no refund policy, which I have been lead to believe means that we have paid over $4000 for a piece of crap couch worth $2800 retail. The phone calls I have had with staff members have been rude and crass, except for a gentleman by the name of Darrell, I believe. Avoid being swindled and taken advantage of, like me, avoid this place at all costs. Especially new and young homeowners, you will be taken for a ride of immense...
Read moreI will NEVER do business with this company again. Ordering the couch, love seat and paying for it was the only part of this transaction that went well. Paid for furniture delivery and to have it brought into my house. Kids showed up to deliver, caused $6700 dollars in damage to my home, ruined 10 LPV stair caps by sliding fully reclining steel frame furniture up the stairs, dinged up my walls, busted custom wood trim, damaged my solid wood banister, broke my storm door and pulled the frame right out of my house. Tore the couch, missing parts for the love seat. Store manager tried to resolve the issues at Owners (owner refused to work directly with me or resolve through business insurance) only offered to have their personal contractors come in to do repairs to the floor but not the other damage they caused. I disputed the charge on my cc for the furniture due to lack of furniture replacement and lack of communication, lack of follow through on contractors and repairs. Company came and picked up the furniture, and then the OWNER stated he REFUSED to work with me to fix the damage to my home they caused. Terrible experience, I would not recommend anyone buy a thing from this company. Shame on the owner for not fixing the damage his workers caused, and admitted to doing. Who would pay $4500 dollars for ripped furniture and missing parts, and then $6700 in property damage. ...
