Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Rochester

We live in downtown Rochester and have been a regular customer of DQ for years. My dog and I ran there, got there at 8:45 pm and walked in; was told it was closed at 8:30 but it says 9:00 pm when googled. Shame on you DQ!! How can you have a heart to say no to a kid and a pup??? It would have taken you less than 5 secs to put a little ice cream in a dish; really??!? This world is crazy enough as it is- Why wouldn’t you give some kindness? Daphne forgives you but next time DO BETTER! Because we made it to Sanders and they were more than accommodating and gave Daphne a free pup cup! Way to go...

I don't care how long I have to wait in line to get my blizzard! I will patiently wait, and wait. Many times each summer, and this is the only Dairy Queen I'll wait at. If I end up at another ice-cream shop in general, I won't wait if it's taking the people more than 2-3 minutes per customer. It must be nostalgia, of an easier time, when I was 5 or 6, and my siblings and I would go here with mom and dad on hot summer nights. A good dairy queen in downtown Rochester.

We came on a Friday night after dinner in town. This place is always super busy whenever I see it open so I have never stopped before. This night was crazy busy for them.

They were doing their best but the line still moved pretty slowly. They were out of a lot of things. Including almost all the seasonal stuff and chocolate ice cream completely.

We had a few Blizzards and they were pretty good.
