Ashli is good at what she does, but extremely unreliable. I booked a bridal appointment with her and she canceled on me the morning of my wedding. To her credit, she did find a replacement, but the replacement was someone I had gotten a quote from previously and decided they were out of my price range. I had to eat the cost of the much higher price of the new stylist, as well as the makeup trial I had done with Ashli (which I had booked and was rescheduled by Ashli not once, but twice. Also getting a test of the makeup you want done is useless if that stylist isn't the one who ends up doing the makeup). I probably should've been on the hunt for another stylist when she rescheduled my make up trial multiple times, but I was happy with the results of the makeup trial and honestly had been looking for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding for a long time already and I was naively convinced she wouldn't cancel on me on such an important day. She did say she was sick, and I understand there can be extenuating circumstances, however, the day of wedding cancelation PLUS the two previous last minute cancelations and rescheduling of the make up trial seem to indicate a pattern for her. Also, when you try to call the salon, the phone line seems to not be working, so if she cancels on you and then decides not to answer your texts for a little while (which did happen) there is no real way to get in touch with her or the salon. When I first met this gem I was having thinning hair bald spots (due to medical issues) and Ashli Fowler her beautiful smile and her sparkling eyes drew me in to her knowledge I could pick her brain for hours about why my hair is falling out and she would answer all my questions and when I had my consultation with her she made me feel like I was the only one that matter made me feel secure with my hair and she help not only covered my balding thining hair she helped build my self worth when I went back to get the extension installed and she glossed my hair cut split ends the hole kit and caboodle so to speak and when I opened my eyes and saw the amazing transformation I was so very over whelmed I cried happy tears and I know no matter the issues that might come up over the next few months I know I’m sitting in the right chair so Ashli I just want you to know how much I appreciate all your efforts to help build me up I’m still amazed and very excited for our up coming appointment you work...

I don’t usually leave reviews on any businesses, especially not bad reviews on local businesses, but I have to give a warning for people with curly hair… Do not go here!!!

I asked for a couple inches off— a bob with a straight bottom angle. She layered it up the sides STRAIGHT and left one side longer than the other. She started cutting before I fully had time to describe what I wanted and the whole thing took about 20 minutes. I left and cried in the car, $56 poorer. Thankfully I was able to go elsewhere and get it fixed, but the layers were so short on the sides that it was nearly impossible to do anything with.

The lady did it told me she felt “confident” about cutting curly hair which was a serious miscalculation. This was a walk-in and I should have done more research, but I wasn’t asking for anything complicated and I honestly didn’t think it could go so wrong.
