Hamilton Ice Arena — Local services in Rocky River

I expect kids at Friday night skate but what I experienced was simply dangerous. The male “guard” was too busy hanging out with his friends and the female “guard” just skated around pretending she didn’t see any chaos. Kids were using their skates to make ice balls and were throwing them at people. Another large group was throwing a hockey puck around. Yes, throwing it. Kids standing around in groups of 10-20, zipping in and out in all directions, and running into adults at full speed. Grew up going to this rink and it’s a hot mess....

This place used to be my go to spot! I love how Friday Night Skate brings all the young people out to enjoy their youth. My only problem was the staff. This one girl, I wasn’t able to get her name, was incredibly rude to me and my family. She laughed at my daughter falling and yelled at my other daughter to stop being loud.
