Paulina certified — Local services in Rogers Park Township

I use to love coming to this market. However, they post INCORRECT HOURS OF OPERATIONS. A couple of months ago the time changed from closing 6:45pm until 6:15pm and that's fine. I arrived at Paulina's on Tuesday 8/28/18 at 5:59pm and they had the doors locked. Mind you I RUSHED FROM WORK TO GRAB A COUPLE OF THINGS FOR DINNER AND THEY WERE CLOSED. What really upset me was I pointed to the staff the closing time posted on the door and the staff just waived me off. Please post the correct closing times and stick with it. VERY...

I live down the block and there have been a couple of times I stop in to just pick up Bananas. They don't have them. Just a few black ones in wrapped in plastic. Or crisco. They don't have it. This store is the saddest, most empty store I've ever seen. Too bad, because living just down the block it would be nice just to grab produce or other items I run short of when cooking/baking. Be nice if new management came in and fixed the impassable freezer aisle and stocked the shelves/produce. It's just depressing...

The grocery store has been under new ownership for approximately the past year. A remarkable improvement has occurred the market is very clean and sanitary. Wonderful fresh vegetables meats, poultry fish and diary products are stocked regularly. With in the next year a Jamaican restaurant will be a new feature.
