Sweet temptations Bake Shop has become my family go to for special occasions. We have truly loved every cake we have purchased from the amazing Tres leches cake which was highly recommended by a friend, to the delicious vanilla cake with strawberry butter cream, the scrumptious chocolate cake with strawberry butter cream and most recently the amazing vanilla cake with mango butter cream and mango preserve, a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. All cakes are baked to perfection and crafted with the freshest ingredients and never disappoint. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are covered to make every cake not only delicious but beautiful. The delivery service is a plus too if you’re not able to pick up. I was excited to order a cake from here but was disappointed by the lack of care. The cake tasted fine, but for all the questions in the custom order form on their website it seemed almost none of it was taken in or maybe not even read.

Picked up the cake and they didn’t have a box for the cake. I ordered a very small cake and they insisted on the height be tall because it was necessary for the design (it was not), but then had no box that fit it? Very odd. So it was put in a small cake box with the lid partially open and parchment paper taped to the opening.

I got home and the piping was very messy and had many gaps showing the bare/crumbed layer underneath. Again, I was really excited to get a cake from here but considering I paid $100+ for a small 6 inch cake and the piping looked to be done in 5 minutes, I think I’ll try out some other bakeries next time I need to order a cake for a...

It was my first time ordering from this place and the custom cakes looked appealing enough to order one for my sister's birthday. I called the shop as well asking what type of custom cakes they could do and the person said they could do anything. I had put the order in two days in advance and thought it would be enough time for them to get back to me if there were any changes on things they couldn't do. Instead, this place gets back to me a day before the order should have been done to say they couldn't complete my request at all so I went back and forth making adjustments on the order just for them to say its really short notice and to send payment but they would get back to me in an hour W/O CONFIRMING THE CHANGES I WANTED ON MY ORDER!
