Fox Trail Distillery — Local services in Rogers

I hadn’t had the chance to come here as soon as I wanted to due to Covid. I’m a bourbon drinker and collector and wasn’t sure what to expect. A lot of distilleries put out product that’s too young and isn’t that great for their first batch. The bourbon distilled by fox trail will be ready next year in the spring. From what I gathered it will be around 5 years old. That’s not super old but I’m glad it wasn’t a 2-3 year product. The bourbon they currently offer is “produced but not distilled” at their location. This isn’t uncommon in the world of bourbon and I’m guessing it’s an MGP product. That being said, I was very impressed with wild parallel and o’highlands. I even ended up purchasing a bottle of the 14 year blend as well as their basic bourbon. I’m optimistic to see what comes from their own efforts next spring. I also sampled all of their spirits. The oak and bean was amazing. Not too sweet to sip on neat. The same is true with the limoncello. I don’t do vodka so I can’t speak to that. The Artanical gin is also a favorite that I’ve purchased several bottles of prior to tonight. The cocktails were good as well. I visited last week and was very disappointed. I have been a fan of Fox Trail Distillery for years and travel to the area about one week a month and loved going there. Was one of my top two places to go. I'm not sure what drove your decissions maybe production and na need for more capital but I really don't like it at all. First you took more then half of the great sitting area, especially the comfe chairs along the wall with the dog paintings above them. I am going to guess this was for more production area. Your seating and bar area are now smaller then the bar in my three star hotel I'm staying at. Also all the seating is right next to the very big door and every one froze their casks right off!!!! You paired down the menu even more!!!! Loved the old day when you had a whole boom of cool offerings. I know your juice is pot stilled but it's also not there at all. When I first toured over 2 years ago I was told it would be released in the next few months. Over 2 years later it's still not ready. My final thought is yall were in my top 3 in the area: Scotch and Soda, Valt and Fox Trail bit now yall would not even make the top 25. 2024: I went to Foxtrail… service was terrible. I never saw my waitress, so I went to the bar. I ordered drinks through the bar. I was sitting at a table. 20 minutes passed so I went to the bar tender again. He said your drinks are on there way. 5 minutes later I went to the bar again, asking for our drinks. They are on there way. I said man I think you need more help! We havnt revived our drinks.His response was, “Man you need to chill out”. I said, “ I need to chill out!” My opinion!
