Chhean's Market — Local services in Rohnert Park

Besides having a name that can't be pronounced, Chhean Marlket is supposed to be a convenience store, but doesn't serve as such. Despite the opening hours clearly displayed claiming the store would be open, at 10:00AM on a regular weekday the store was closed. Through the windows I could glance a meager selection of articles, among which some school supplies, but the store was mostly empty. Perhaps just a facade for a more lucrative business... N.B. I couldn't help but notice most of the reviewers of this store here only wrote 1-2 reviews total; they use the same wording, with no photo proof, and most of them also wrote the reviews around the same time. Friendliest family owned grocery market boasting a lot of goods at low affordable prices. Consists of mostly Cambodian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean ingredients for now; fresh Asian fruits and vegetables; frozen meats/seafood/others; special once in a while items (Bahn Mi sandwiches, pork buns, broiled pork, roasted duck, steamed chicken, etc), small kitchen utensil--just to name a few.

Key notes: Friendly family owned, affordable Asian cooking/ingredients, on-the-go, vegetarian/vegan/pescetarian budget-friendly, accessible.

Shop owners were very nice and despite being small they had a really nice selection of items including fresh produce! Likely will be our go to for local Asian specialty items!

The prices seem competitive for the area.
