MANDATORY STOP each time I drive through Roseburg on I-5!

A tiny business, I believe it is a husband-wife team that run the entire operation. They might have a part time employee, but basically this is as small and local as it gets! Many of the sweets, and ALL of the fudge are made by the owners, with recipes passed down over the years when the shoppe has changed owners. Since I discovered this little gem of Oregon in 2010, I have known two pairs of owners, and the new owners (Cody and Mandi) have the same passion and friendliness that make it more than just a place to buy great fudge!

They are happy to let you taste the fudge before you buy, and there are so many flavors that they have to rotate them! So if you want a specific flavor, call and find when it is scheduled!

There is a wide selection of sugar-free fudge, chocolates, and candies. These are GOOD sugar-free sweets (according to my mom who cannot consume sucrose and has quite a lot of experience with good and bad "sugar-free").

As a small operation, the store hours are limited. At the time of my review (October 2016), the store is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and are open Tuesday - Saturday 10AM-5PM

It is a good thing I live far away, because otherwise the temptation would be too great!

It's hard to describe which sparks more joy in this magical place, the wonderful owners Mandi and Cody or the delicious delicacies they offer. Umpqua Sweets and Treats quickly becomes a staple choice in "Treat Yourself" options through their amazing fudge and truffle rotations and their always amazing Yumpqua bars, chocolate toffees, and second-to-none mint patties. Adorable locally owned chocolate shop. Great prices and really good chocolates. If they have the dark chocolate walnut caramel mallows you're in for a treat.
