I bought a watch at a thrift store and wore it every day for a few months because I loved it so much. One day, the clasp stopped staying shut, so I foolishly let my father try to fix it. Let’s just say he’s good at fixing cars and other larger things, but he does not possess the delicate touch necessary to fix a tiny watch. He broke the clasp, so I brought it to Fast Fix to get it repaired and the battery replaced. My mother also brought two watches that needed new batteries.

The lovely employee assured us that he would be able to replace all the batteries and get a new clasp for my watch. The battery replacements were each around $50, and the clasp replacement was about $45, which is pretty reasonable when you don’t know how to do it yourself.

I will say that it took about a month to get everything repaired, so you need to be willing to wait if you leave an item with them. But it is so worth it. I’ve just picked them up and the watches are working great, and they managed to find an identical-looking clasp (albeit an unusually sized one too) for a random watch from a thrift store.

This was my second time visiting Fast-Fix, having the same necklace repaired for a second time. Everyone was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable each visit. It was just over a year between each repair and they have the same exact pricing as last time, which is hard to find anywhere right now. The first repair was a complete break in two spots, which they flawlessly repaired. And the latest repair was a single complete break, in a different spot. I broke the necklace doing the same exact thing I did the first time, so you’d think it would break where a repair was done, but they did an excellent job and the (invisible) repair held up great. Hopefully I keep breaking my necklace, because they even clean and shined the necklace both times, free of charge. They have very fast turn around and finished the repair the same day, even when I explained I’d be fine to wait! They make it simple and send over a text letting you know your work is complete and keep it easy. Thank you everyone...

This place has been here for as long as I can remember, always providing fast, excellent jewelry repair at a reasonable cost. When I had two long crystal necklaces break in the same way, the company was going to stand by their replacement warranty, but the cost associated with doing so was high. I live in the South Hills but took advantage of my next available day to bring these out to Fast-Fix. The gentleman helping me took a look, assessed the breaks (slightly different in each necklace; one had to lose one crystal which he returned to me) and said putting them back together would take just a moment and I could wait. In under five minutes he had repaired both of them and assessed them for any impending breaks I was not aware of.
