‼️ Food Poisoning Alert ‼️

This used to be our favorite bubble tea shop, but today’s experience was completely unacceptable. The drink made my child sick with food poisoning and an upset stomach, and vomit. Unlike other shops where drinks are freshly made in front of you, everything here seemed pre-prepared. They just added some pearls and poured tea from a jug that had clearly been sitting there for who knows how long, especially with milk inside. Please note, the jar was taken out not from a fridge, but keep in the room temperature.There was no fresh mixing or preparation like we’re used to seeing at other places.

This is the closest boba tea place to my house. I was probably spending too much money coming here but after today, I won't be back. I don't expect a lot for customer service from anywhere that serves just drinks but the staff here are just plain rude. Three people working today and I was the only person in there. Two employees cleaning machines and the counter and one in the back, no acknowledgement. I was on the phone and even made a point to end my call so that I wasn't being rude to them. Waited 10 mins total before I left. They likely wouldn't have to charge nearly $10 per drink if they cut down on some of their staffing, since it clearly doesn't make a difference how many people are working: you won't get your order taken. I ordered the matcha latte. There were so many drink choices and I didn’t even know what a few were. On top of that, there were topping choices that I also had no I idea what they were so I didn’t try any.

The store was clean, not busy. I didn’t order an ice or sugar level, because I didn’t know it was an option until they were making it. It was $6.00 for a large. I would have rather went to Starbucks and ordered the same thing for less money.

I haven’t tried anything else to know if there are better drinks. I may or may not be back to try something else. I love matcha and there wasn’t anything wrong with the drink, I just wasn’t wowed and thought it was very expensive. As such, I’m giving it 4 stars for the...
