Awful Experience shopping here because of sales associate whom works in womens handbags, Sandy Blond Hair with Big Thick Glasses .
I often shop at Nordstrom in store and online . This sales associate woman whom works in handbags stares and looks at me weirdly each time I come into the store to shop.
She watches me. Its that thing whee you know or can feel someone looking at you and naturally turn to look back . I'm minding my own business shopping for birthday gifts for my daughter .
My daughter and myself are both essential workers too. To try and make a long story short I purchased a handbag for my daughter gift , then last weekend a pair of high-end sunglasses as well.
Shop in children's section for my young grand children . I then look up as I'm leaving the childrens shoe department after looking at sandals for my granddaughter .
I see security very (Obviously) a woman or whom ever she was standing in middle of isle between handbags and children's section looking at everything I'm doing , literally staring at me and ny son whom is with me shopping too.. The most ignorant and indecent treatment a person can do is stand there and Obviously Stare at you.
I'm African American ,I. That sales woman called security to come to department obviously. All I'm doing is shopping. Spending my earned dollars in Nordstrom purchasing for my daughters birthday...
I felt harassed because of behavior of that associate for which there was no reason for her to treat me and my son with disrespectful.
I plan to definitely adress this treatment towards me the next time I'm n nordstrm and will write a letter if need be to Corporate offices Nordstrom, your employees are in severe need of .Training .

Read moreUpdate June 30, 2023. I recieved a box today from this Nordstrom and you will never guess what was in it? Yep! The beautifully altered original jacket. I can’t believe I have it. They must have lost it or shipped it to the wrong person. It took 10 months, I can’t believe they sent it to me! Changed my rating to 4 stars! Thanks Nordstrom, it’s still my favorite jacket of all time!
Update 10/30/22. I’ve made contact with alterations but still do not have the jacket. In 13 days it will officially be 3 months. I’ll be reach out to the email they provided.
I purchased a jacket at this store on August 12, 2022. I left it to be altered. Today Oct 2nd. I still do not have the Jacket. I’m hoping this review will get me a response since calling and going to the store does not. I was originally supposed to pick up the jacket on Aug 25th. I was called the Friday before by George saying he didn’t like the alteration and that he would expedite another jacket and have it altered for the following weds 31st. I went to the store to pick it up on Sept 2nd and it took 30 min to figure out it wasn’t done. So they agreed to ship it to me by Sept 12th for a trip I had. It didn’t show up. I called after I returned on the 29th and was told the jacket wasn’t finished and that no one ordered the new jacket and that George would call me back in the next 2days. It’s now Oct 2nd and I called and asked how to elevate this issue and the lady said she didn’t know. She said she would let George know to call me back. They have some serious issues in this store which is surprising for a Nordstrom. I’ve had exceptional service from Nordstroms all over the country, except this store. Read moreI returned 1 of 2 dresses I purchased online for my friends wedding, and then decided to do a little shopping. I went to two different dressing rooms looking for help, and no one was in them. It appeared there was an event going on, that was wrapping up and there were 4 associates coming in and out of one room. I walked in and asked if I could try a couple things on. The associate said sure and then turned around and went back to talking to her client about her beach house and left me standing there. I waited for a couple minutes and then went out to find someone else to help me. Two registers were empty, so I went back into the same dressing room and found a room that had been left open. The same two woman were still in there and I was Never acknowledged again!!!! I left feeling disgusted and mistreated. It was bizarre that no one offered to help me?! I have worked in retail/ customer service my whole career. I was a designer at Ethan Allen, and currently work at a furniture boutique in Pittsburgh, while running my freelance business. I understand what it’s like to work for commission. I would never treat someone like that. It was such a pretentious vibe that day. I felt like I wanted to cry. Obviously people are working at Nordstrom’s because they need a job. I was treated like I didn’t matter, and I’m disgusted. Nordstrom has always been known for its amazing customer service.
