The selection was quite neat, if not a little overpriced on some items.
However, the cashier did not scan all the items we intended to buy, nor did they pay attention when the items were bagged. We know this because something triggered the censors when we went to leave. My sister grew concerned and came back with the bag to look through it to make sure it wasn't anything in there, taking the items we purchased out. The cashier points out some items that were not on the receipt (which, I will point out, are similarly colored/branded to the items that were on the receipt - this is why I assumed they overlooked them), and instead of asking if we intended to purchase the items in the first place or wringing them up properly, take the items back. The next time I entered the store myself that day, the cashier had approached me and said in a quite condescending way that if I didn't buy something, they were going to ask me to leave, due to what happened earlier.
I understand that the cashier needs to look out for the store, but we stole nothing, even going out of our ways to ensure we wouldn't when realistically, most people would have just kept walking. But rather than addressing the mistake, the cashier behaved in such a way that gave my sister so much anxiety and embarrassment that she did not want to be anywhere near that store, and then she wants to treat us like thieves?
I did end up buying an item, in fact. But both times we were there would have been more lucrative for the store if their employee had owned up to their error the first time, and exercised better behavior the second. I'm sure this store some excellent people on their crew, we were just not fortunate enough to meet...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband ordered items online but no longer needed them once they arrived. I had stopped in asking about returning the items in store. Was told by a woman at the register the morning of March 23rd that yes, as long as we had the receipt, they would take the refund. So we stopped in with the items on March 26th only to be rudely told that we'd only receive store credit. Ummmm... no. First of all, that's a tiny stipulation that one should explain when specifically inquiring about returning online items. Second of all, in what universe is it acceptable to not recieve a refund in the original method of payment when you have sealed, new items with a receipt when this little hiccup isn't mentioned anywhere in any kind of return policy posted either at the counter, on the receipt or on the website? Turned out they could refund to the card my husband used. They just didn't know how at the time as they had to call a manager at home to walk them through the return process which they only did at my insistence (consult a manager who I figured was in the store but was apparently off duty). What made matters worse was we had attempted to follow the return steps for online purchases on the website and receipt, (to email their customer service with the order number and items for return), and after a week of no response, we opted to try the store. Had the website simply responded in a timely fashion to our inquiry, we wouldnt have had to inconvenience the mall employees to honor what should have been such a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAgree with another one of the reviews from last year. I would give zero stars if I could.
This place is a scam. They ask for your id and sign you up for expensive magazines before you realize what they are doing.
The cashier did the same to me and after he did it he said oh well, just call the number on the back of the card to cancel it in 24 hours. I didnāt even ask for this at all. I told him to cancel whatever he did and he said he couldnāt now cause he already had put it through and that I had to wait 24hours to cancel. So I called the number like he said and they said it was cancelled. And once again still getting magazines sent to my house. He failed to mention you have to call every single magazine place to cancel the subscriptions they sign you up for. Horrible he costed me money and headaches trying to get everything canceled. For something I didnāt even want or ask for. I will never be back there. A couple pairs of socks for my son for his bday ended up costing me about 200 dollars in magazine subscriptions I didnāt even ask for. This needs to be addressed with the staff there. Itās totally ...
