Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Maryland

I frequently came here and always purchased a large smoothie and chicken bacon ranch but I added two cookies This day when I arrived the guy that would usually make the sandwiches was at register. Surprisingly. I placed my usual order and I noticed he was having a hard time placing my order. As he continued to ring, I noticed the ladies in the back who normally do the placing of the food order and smoothie. I took special notice of this because of the things I stated above. While ringing he asked me one question about my order " Whether I wanted bacon? My reply was yes never thinking he didn't get the rest of my order right. I even included a tip which I have being doing and of course it was included in my purchase as I used my card and not cash. I had some errands to run so I didn't look at my order before leaving. My fault. Once I realized my sandwich was wrong I immediately returned so that my sandwich could be made correctly. When I came back the guy was still at the register. I let him know my sandwich was wrong and he said did I place my order online. I said no you placed my order. He then said it wasn't his fault I asked for bacon, I said yes doesn't my sandwich come with bacon. He then wanted to continue to talk about how it wasn't his fault. I only wanted for my order to be made correctly. I didn't want the difference in money which the wrong sandwich was more. I just wanted my sandwich made correctly. He wanted to go back and forth with me about it wasn't his fault. At this point just give me my money back because I didn't come all the way back here for this nonsense. I just wanted my sandwich made correctly. He then went in the drawer to retrieve my money and while doing so, I asked for my tip money as well, he said I can't get my tip back. I left the location and as I was sitting in my car, I realized I didn't have the two cookies I purchased because it was in the bag with the wrong sandwich which was thrown in the trash. I returned to retrieve my money for the cookies. After waiting awhile I was finally refunded my money for the cookies. I vowed to never return to this location. As much as I frequent this location and had mishaps before, I never experienced this nonsense. I even bragged about this company...

Ordered directly through this website and they handed off the items to DoorDasher as that is the company they use for deliveries. They did not make sure the Dasher had one of our items and let him leave without it. The dasher showed up without the item. We called Tropical Smoothie to get refund and the manager was EXTREMELY RUDE. Practically yelling at me over the phone from the beginning. He told me I needed to contact DoorDash so I did. DoorDash said the store was in charged if giving refund since the purchase was made directly from their website. DoorDash even assisted in calling them and letting them know and the manager still refused. He gave DoorDash some random number and told me I needed to call that number to report my issue. I called that number and it went straight the voicemail of someone name "Robert". DoorDash called me back and stated that they were putting in a complaint and suggested I do the same. I called Tropical Smoothie support line and they were so helpful and reported the store and put in my info for a refund. I will NEVER go to this location again. That manager was the most disrespectful and careless person I have ever spoken too. Then he tried to call me, 3 hours later, using my number from my order (from what sounded like his personal number b/c it was not Tropical Cafe's number). And he was asking me if I got my food I was missing, when he knows I haven't! I told him I reported him on the customer service line and that he had no reason to call me. Very...

I love tropical smoothie. Not this location though. The manager is garbage. They ran a promotion October 13th in which I spun a wheel and recieved a ticket for a free smoothie. I was kind of skeptical about it because the employee scratched off the buy one get one free part and just scribbled her name in the back. Tried to use it today manager automatically assumed I was just trying to get a free product and basically laughed at the coupon. I often go to Waugh chapel location and I love the smoothies I have no problem spending money because its worth it. Since I was in the area which isnt often I figured I'd use the coupon. Wont be back.

Update: To the owner definitely not the wrong location if you all are by the Walmart in golden ring next to the shoe store I know where I was just left there about an hour ago. I used to live in Odenton and only came to this location to treat my neices who live in Sparrows point there happened to be some promotion going on that day. Again horrible management I'll stick the Waugh Chapel and Glen Burnie locations. Clearly had a conversation with neice about the day before.
