Quickway Hibachi — Restaurant in Rossville

I am an Uber driver and my first time at this location was a poor experience. There are no signs stating there is a “To Go” area so I went to the register to check in. The owner I presume since he is the one that is normally there running the register told me to go wait at the end of the line and waved me off. I didn’t think much of it and went to the end and got my order. I went back there maybe 4 more times for Uber orders and did the same thing he requested. Went to the end and waited for my order. Today I went in as usual and the three cooks are talking and playing around so I was waiting for them to done to approach the counter. When I usually approach the counter when they’re talking they don’t acknowledge me so I’m use to it. Well today I did just this and the owner asked me what I need. I said I’m an uber order. He said why you just standing there then why you not say nothing. I get we all have bad days so I didn’t think much of it. I even apologized and said I only did what I’m use to. He proceeded to say some more words and be rude and I was polite and said “Sir don’t worry. I won’t be back. Thank you.” This place has always been rude and being in customer service I don’t mind it but I can’t handle his and his staff rude attitude anymore. I never ate there and wanted to try one day since I get so many orders but his attitude and his staff was just the last straw. I wish him the best of luck and encourage him to change...

After a little reluctancy yet persuasion on my part we ended up giving this place a try and HE is the one that enjoyed it the most. The staff was extremely friendly, personable and attentive. So much that the owner walked to our table to compliment me about my shoes as well as asked if we were enjoying our food. The prices are inexpensive in our opinion considering the amount of food we received. From reviews received from other locations it was referenced that the food was bland in taste which required more sauce. I've been here a few times since they've opened, and every trip has been an absolute delight! The portions are very generous and the food is delicious, all for a fairly reasonable price. It reminds me of savory, filling mall hibachi but even better, and that's a good thing. The staff is always friendly and they've made an effort to remember what I usually order, too. It feels welcoming! I also like that they're open fairly late, for those of us who get off work later. It's quite convenient.
