Pick Your Cards PYC Sportscards and TCG Store — Local services in Roxbury Township

Went to PYC all the way back in May. The actual store looks very “disguised” It looks out of the ordinary because of how there’s only one small door, and the window has a medal board over it. I don’t care about how the outside looks, it’s just something I noticed. When I got inside, the store kind of overwhelmed me because of how small it was and how much stuff was in there. Not just cards, stuff. This place needed to be at least a little bit cleaned in my opinion. I 100% understand that PYC sells mostly all their singles online, but the prices of blasters and hobby boxes didn’t make up for it. I could be wrong but when I was looking for local card shops and I found this one, I couldn’t find any information that they sell singles online. No where. The who I assume to be the owner was very nice and had a sense of humor. I’m glad he wasn’t the stereotypical card shop owner who isn’t friendly. After overpaying for a blaster box of 2020 Donruss Basketball, I got a Larry Bird Patch card that has really bad and noticeable scuff on the top right. I don’t have a problem with the store or the owner l, I guess it was my experience. After all, I drove 40+ minutes to find out they don’t sell singles. I appreciate anyone who’s read this. Rude worker! We walked in the store, were in there for 5-7 minutes and weren’t even addressed/greeted by the worker. There was a table of cards right by the door when you walk in. My seven year old son was LOOKING at them and he was rudely told not to! If you have cards you are selling online only, they should be behind the register, not out In the store! my kids weren’t in the least bit doing anything wrong! First of all store is a mess, someone still trying to sell sets where the market has come and gone. Owners not real friendly, surprising someone still is trying to sell sealed sets after the market is way over. I would not recommend buying anything from this person.
