We are so grateful for the kindness and over-the-top helpful staff at RO! Yesterday we arrived much later than expected to pick up our Thule cross bars/cargo box set. Side note: it was impossible to find a cargo box anywhere and RO was the only place that had the size I needed. It was fate that brought us together and thank goodness for that!

I secured the cargo box on Sunday evening through Thule.com using an option to purchase available stock with a local vendor. RO confirmed the box availability first thing the next morning. I called and spoke with Theresa in who helped me select the correct cross bars and accessories for my Thule box/car setup. She was so patient, thorough and stayed in communication with me every step of the way until all items were available.

When my husband and I arrived to pick up the items at 8:15pm after a really long day (we should NOT have showed up that late, store closes at 9pm), the staff immediately went into "can do" mode. DJ, an associate, picked up on the overwhelming feeling we were experiencing when we saw the equipment. He was so positive & optimistic and offered to help us without hesitation. It took us about an hour or so to setup the cross bars and cargo box on the roof of our SUV, with some small blips as we went. Then Emma, another associate, swooped in at the end of our installation with the cargo box and gave us some much needed energy (and experience/skill) to get the cargo box safely on the roof. Installation is not their job and they were truly just being helpful!

I am confident that if it were not for DJ, Emma (and the rest of the team who closed up the store without them, thank you) we would have been stuck in the parking lot all night trying to finish the install.

We recommend this business 100% without any reservations. We do not recommend putting yourself (or their kind staff) in the same situation at the end of the day. However, if you find yourself there, know that the staff will do anything they can to help you.

Went to go view guns at the Succassunna location, as I'm in the market for one. Was immediately "greeted" with hostility, just a weird vibe. Asked to see one of the guns, he handed it to me and as I was just starting to look at all the parts he immediately yelled "watch it you're gonna catch your fingers! No hold it like this" and took it from me "showing me" how to do it. I told him don't worry my fingers were no where near the action (had someone with me to vouche that I wasn't holding it improperly) or any part of the gun my fingers shouldn't be as I'm a range officer and firearms instructor, I know how to handle guns. And he (and a coworker) immediately quipped "well some guy shot him self at 'such and such' gun range that doesn't hold any weight here". I advised him I don't work there, I work elsewhere to which they just kept talking about what happened at the other range embarrassing me in front of other customers and how my occupational knowledge "holds no weight" at this store. It was very awkward to say the least. Minimal selection of guns and the gun I wanted was easily two hundred more there than I found online. Left the store immediately afterwards and won't be back. Disappointed by the shoe department employee. I needed to try on my size and there was no one around which was okay it was around 8:00PM. I asked someone to help me from the register area, a gentleman was very sincere and offered to bell and was very helpful, HOWEVER another associate, a woman, comes by and starts mumbling and following the the person who is trying to help me and I over hear her starting a conversation with a she is…. As soon as she enter the back storage area. I didn’t not hear what she was saying but it was obvious she is talking and saying something about me. Her behavior was very unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. The gentleman brought my size and the lady stood on top of my head and watched me the whole time which is find again I thought maybe she was trying to assist me with further assistance BUT she kept giving dirty look and was eyeing the guy like I did something.
