I have never left a bad review before in my life and I feel really bad but I have to explain what happened. I’m not new to Asian facials and have been getting them since I was a teenager. When I first got there one woman was sleeping not knowing that there was an appointment and led me into a room. Usually I would change into a robe but she just stared at me so I just got into the bed with my clothes on and she didn’t say anything. I didn’t think anything of it until another woman comes in and says “oh you didn’t take your clothes off?” but proceeded to continue anyways. After they were stretching out my collar of my sweatshirt to massage me, I asked if they wanted me to take it off and they said no. Then she massaged my face for 10 min with the same lotions in the same areas. Then she would go back and forth to the sink to my face to roughly wipe off everything using the same damp napkins. They would put product directly into my eye and made it burn. Then they put a clay mask on top of a sheet of paper covering my face which they left on me for a really long time covering my eyes and my mouth. I fell asleep and woke up to it being completely dry with no one coming. All I heard were girls laughing outside and having conversations which was fine so I just kept waiting. After 10 min, I had to loosen my mouth and say “excuse me” hoping someone would hear me. Then when they came back they took it off, put one more coat of lotion and told me I’m done. It was the worst experience that was supposed to only last 90 min and started at 4 but I left at 6 because I think they forgot about me. I paid for it in the beginning of the session. At the end, I didn’t have cash and asked if they have Venmo or Zelle for tip. She said no but they have an atm and walked me outside and took me to go into a different building but I asked if I could just go to my own bank to not pay the fees. she asked if she can take my phone until I came back. I ended up not even going back because of that experience which I felt terrible but I’m honestly...
Read moreIn town for work and it’s been on my mind to get a massage. This place popped up while searching Google maps. The reasonable pricing and high rating reviews helped me decide on this spot. My husband and I opted for a 1 hour couples massage. The staff were very kind and accommodating on the phone and in person. The massage itself was done by Mike and Anna— both were fantastic and very professional. The session did not feel rushed at all and they were attentive if we were in any pain or wanted the pressure to be more or less. It’s evident that they really care about what they do. All in all, you can’t go wrong booking a session here and it’s in an excellent downtown location with shops and restaurants all in...
Read moreIf it wasn’t for Josephine Cheng (the main owner) I would have given this place a 4 star but because the owner is unfair and mannerless I’ll have to give them a 1 star. I get massages quite often, this place is average in terms on skill like a 3.5/5. I had 2 of the workers give me a massage at the same time and I never wanted two people at once and was never asked about it - at the end, the owner said I have to tip both of the workers separately a minimum of $15 each. Really underhanded and mannerless. I’ve seen some similar comments about their tipping culture in the past but didn’t expect it to be this bad. The massage with facial cost about $150...
