
I recently moved to Sac and have been struggling to find a nail salon that I like. I search google and this place came up with mostly great reviews so I thought Iād try it out. First impression when I came in, not too busy, and they acknowledged me right away. Had me sign in with my services of request. The woman directed me to the color selection for the service I wanted. I waited about 15-20min before being sat, which was fairly quickly for a walk-in. I sat down for my pedicure and the water was pretty hot, but they adjusted it. The massage chair was GREAT! And the Zen pedicure was good as well! The sugar scrub is a little too rough for me personally, but the scent was so yummy and refreshing. The tech, Rosie, was very gentle and kind, but honestly the paint job wasnāt that good for a $55 pedicure. She kept telling me how her fingers were sore from working and her nails and finger tips were brittle and peeling š© after the pedicure, I moved to a table for a dip manicure..again the woman was very gentle and friendly, we had a good conversation about life and where we come from. I recently chopped my nails off so I didnāt have much to work with, but she still made me feel fresh and relaxed. Iāve had better Dip maniās elsewhere, but I still tipped her for both services because even tho the paint job wasnāt that good. The experience I had there was very relaxing. The techs were all very clean and wearing gloves, their English is very good (not to be racial) but it sucks when your nails turn out not how you want simply cus of language barrier! The man at the front desk gave me $4 off my total, I think because I was a new customer. Iām not sure if Iāll be back.. they are a little pricey in my opinion. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appointment for a dip fill as I do every 3 weeks, this is the third time coming to 5 star. When I sat down the girl began filing the old dip off normally they soak my nails in acetone and remove everything from my nails. The girl was not doing that so I assumed she had her own way of doing it. Then she didnāt dip my nails in the powder she applied the powder with the liquid and a brush, again I assumed it was just her way of doing it. When she was done I paid and walked outside in the sun and looked at my nails you could see through the nail color and in spots you could see the glitter dip I had on when I got there.
I walked back into the salon and asked the first person I saw if they could look at my nails outside, the lady walked up to me a grabbed my hand she says you asked for a dip fill right ? I said yes she said thatās why they look like that. I said I always ask for a fill and they donāt look like this, they completely remove everything and put a new color on. She tells me a fill is just taking a little off and putting over top and our customers donāt care if you can still see old polish through or if the color is see through in places. She said pick a gel polish and we will put a coat on top to cover it, she did not want to help me and was very rude. I was not giving her 2 more seconds of my time people that treated customers that way should not be in customer service!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a loyal customer and have been coming to this establishment for years but today I was faced with unnecessary hostility from ALL staff. I went in to get a french tip pedicure and didnāt like how thin the French tip line was but when I went back 2 hours later asking politely to just add a thicker line they tried to dismiss me and insist that it was fine. They acted like I was asking for a refund or whole new pedicure when all I wanted was some thicker lines. I was asked by 5 different workers what the problem was and not one helped me. I was then directed to sit at the pedicure chair where I was told, and I quote āyouāre gonna have to wait a really long time until we can help youā in a hostile tone. So I was determined to wait until I was helped, there were staff that were just sitting at their chairs not helping anyone just staring at me. It wasnāt until a lovely lady named Kelly that asked me to move to a different chair where she offered to help me out. Kelly did an amazing job fixing it and was so nice to me when other staff neglected my concerns. She fixed my problem in under 5 minutes, I was waiting longer than it took to even fix my issue. This establishment should be ashamed of their customer service and shouldnāt be offended when a PAYING customer is asking for a slight change to a service they paid for. Shame on...
