Crumbl — Restaurant in California

I visited this location this past Saturday (05/06/2023) twice. First time early in the afternoon my visit was fine and the cookie was good. It was my second visit that lead me to give this location 1 star. I went in just after work right before closing (just barely made it... about 5 minutes til closing) and used the machine to order my cookie, just as I turning around I see one of the workers walking to the front with a broom (understandably because it's almost time to close) when the chime sounds to let them know someone has ordered I hear the female worker say something rude, but whatever I just wanted my cookie and go home. I was then told by the male worker that they ran out of frosting for the cake batter cookie and i stated it was fine I just wanted a treat for Sunday since the would be closed. Now mind you he had gloves on because it was cleaning time and I just saw him holding a broom, then walked over to get the cookie.... I'm thinking "he'll change his cloves"..... NOPE, with the same gloves he was just holding a broom with and whatever else he was doing in the back he grabbed my cookie (by hand)with the gloved hand he started to add another cookie I guess since it was closing ( which I didn't ask for nor was I expecting) but he then took the cookie back out and just gave me the one. Because it was closing and no manager what could I say. I took the cookie and left. I did NOT eat it. Needless to say I will just go to the one by my house from now on. I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the level of service I have received at this particular establishment. It is with sheer exasperation that I bring to your attention the recurring problem I have encountered at this location. Allow me to paint a picture for you: Imagine arriving at a place with the intention of indulging in some freshly baked cookies, only to be met with a shocking revelation. The staff, who are supposed to cater to the needs and desires of their customers, have decided to cease production of these delectable treats at an unreasonably early hour of 8pm. Mind you, the establishment does not even close until midnight! Can you fathom the laziness and lack of dedication exhibited by the staff? Their excuse for this unacceptable behavior is that the preparation of the caramel topping for the oatmeal cookies is deemed too burdensome, leaving customers empty-handed until the following day. This is nothing short of absurd, especially considering the fact that there are still a remaining four hours of business operation left. I have experienced this issue on four separate occasions, and I have reached my breaking point. As a dissatisfied customer, I have made the decision to take my patronage elsewhere, where my needs and expectations will be met with the utmost professionalism and diligence. I hadn’t realized that there was a little cookie bakery that opened up here! I stopped in the other day bc the name caught my eye and was surprised by the selection and how big the cookies were. The employees were quick to greet me when I walked in and were friendly when I explained that it was my first time there. The cashier, Navnita, made recommendations on the different flavors and even let me know that they had a rewards system if we downloaded the app! She was super patient despite it taking a while for my app to load ^^

I ended up getting a box of 6 to try and chocolate chip was my favorite! It was warm and with just the perfect ratio of cookie to chips; I’d definitely get this one again. Crumbl Cookies is a must try if you’re ever...
