I came in today around 12 pm and I wanted some fish me and my cousin were looking around for what kind if fish we were going to get, we were greeted by a older lady asking if we needed help with the fish we did say were looking around and she went near the hamster ails, after maybe 2 min I kindly asked the lady if she can help us out with the fish, she dramatically threw the cleaning items on the rollar and said ok , I was a little shocked to see an older lady mad already after 2 min, she was very rude to us. I asked if I can get a specific fish. A common gold fish I asked the woman if I could get a white and orange goldfish and she said "ugh well with one" and I was like well the one right there, I was keeping my cool with this woman and my cousin and I were disgusted with her behavior, I saw that she threw the fish violently in the small tank she put them in. We specificly asked for only 3 fish , LITERALLY 3 , I'm sorry but how could you act this way working at a pet store. It's supposed to be fun and exiting, the lady also had a disgusting attitude with us. I want to point out, I was very kind to the woman even though she was rude the entire time. My cousin asked for a specific black and orange fish and the worker said , Ugh well idk if i want to put a lot of effort for a 40 cent fish and we were disgusted from what she said, every fish Is special there own way. Read moreI have gone to Petsmart 3 times, right prior to them closing at 9 p.m. Once the doors were locked, and no one in sight. Twice, as I was walking up to the doors, the employee walked up to the doors, unlocked them, leaned out and apologized and said they were closed. Each time this has happened, by the time I returned to my vehicle, it was still not 9 p.m. If this store closes at 8:30, 8:45, or any time prior to 9 p.m., it should be posted on the store hours sign, and on their website. It is s real inconvenience to go to a store, and have it closed at a time that it clearly states it is open. The apologies, at the door, mean nothing at that point. If the employees are getting paid, to stay until only 9 p.m., then it's understandable that they have to shut everything down prior to 9 p.m., but if they are getting paid to keep the doors open until 9 p.m. they are not doing so. I dont think I've ever been to a store that has made me leave, if I was there prior to closing time. If I could rate the employees separate than the store, the employees do not even deserve 1 star. Being a business owner myself, I would not turn away customers, nor would I shut a door and not let them spend their money in my business, even if I had to stay a couple minutes longer, to keep a customer satisfied, in Hope's of them being repeat customers. They hardly had any selection and nothing in an actual shipping box- so we were supposed to take a 36 gallon tank home and hope it didn't get broken because it's all unpacked. But let's talk about customer service. Apparently there was a spill of some sort that necessitated every rep in the store to help clean up. At one point a rep named "Lexi" answered a few of our questions then disappeared in the middle of "helping" us. We had more questions but she was gone back to the spill that everyone was cleaning. With no assistance in sight, my husband called the store and Lexi took time out of cleaning the spill to answer the phone. I guess the phone is more important than the people in the store she just walked away from. So we got her back and asked if they had the 40 gallon tank that they sell a stand for. Apparently no they don't actually have a tank for a stand they sell. We didn't really want the aquarium on display as its the one we have that is leaking now and the one on display was not well made. When we asked if there was one in a box so we didn't have to take this one she said "No. Is there anything I can actually help you with?" Apparently she didn't like being away from the spill party. So we assured her that no, we would not be needing any of her help as we were done shopping...
