The people in this place, at least the people who "helped" me today, we're ignorant. I asked a person for screen retaining clips, and the person who "helped" me, said they didn't have them. I then asked about screening material, and again, the person said that they had very limited selection. He left, thank goodness, and I walked 30 ft down the aisle and found a good selection of screening material AND the retaining clips the person said they didn't have. When i got to the checkout , the person at the register rang up an item I was sure was a lower price. Then she said I was mistaken and indicated that a slightly different item was the lower price. I asked her to ring up the item at the lower price and I would exchange it. When I went outdoors to change the item, the person came out and said that i was confused about the price. I looked at the sign and it clearly stated the price I quoted to her. She said that it was a typo and refused to sell me the item at the listed price. I will never go to this ACE ever again. I will drive 30 miles to Tucson where at the very least I will get a correct answer from knowledgeable personnel and prices as listed. HORRIBLE...
Read moreWent to Sahuarita Ace Hardware to purchase three new keys. The main key with the fob, a spare key and a valet key. I paid $150 to order the main key but also purchased the spare. The spare key was cut from my existing worn key instead of using the code from the lock on the glove box. So it was cut wrong from the beginning. After that, the chip needed programmed. While George programmed the key to my car, he broke a wafer in my ignition jamming it further down into the ignition cylander. This resulted in Green Valley locksmith coming out to get the car started so i could take it up to the honda dealership to be fixed. This entire ordeal resulted in $867 worth of work needing done to fix my car and install an entirely new ignition cylander. I openned a complaint with corporate and they sent the store the details. But i have not received a phone call, an email or an apology. I will be filing a small claim with the local courts and openning another complaint with the BBB. Ace was kind enough to reimburse me for the keys at the time but only after it was suggested to George by the locksmith. But this is all completely unacceptable. If i could give zero...
Read moreI came in today to buy 2 of the same items. When I went up to the checkout, the older woman there did not greet me after I said hello and when she rang me up, my items were different prices. I said "Oh, why are these different prices?" And she said "I don't know, they're probably different sku numbers". I stated that I got both items from the same shelf so ideally, they should be the same product. She just looked at me, not at all willing to be helpful or at least call someone to help me because she seemingly could not be bothered. I told her to cancel my transaction and I took the items back. There was one gentleman there who was at least willing to help and we both discovered that none of the items were in the correct place. I just wanted to leave at that point and have decided to not waste my time there again. I believe in professionalism and taking pride in your work no matter what your job is and I definitely feel it was lacking today.
