MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Sahuarita

Been coming here since we moved to Southern Arizona almost 4 years ago. Shame on for not having done a review sooner.

One of my big things is consistency......and this place for the almost 4 years we have been coming here has it. Every time!!!

Of course, there is flavor, variety in the toppings, delicious dough with great texture that can handle whatever topping you throw at it. The delicious marinara...whether you get the regular one or the spicy marinara you can't go wrong.

Our favorite is the mad dog. The meats are flavorful. Surprisingly easy on the salt. And we overload it with almost everything toppings-wise. They even have cucumbers which are excellent on a pizza. If gives the pizza an amazing crunch aside form the crust. As soon as it comes out of the oven I can not wait to inhale my pizza. Everything is right about this pizza. I don't mind driving over an hour for this pizza. Mods....you make fantastic pizza and very reasonably priced as well. There are more expensive pizzas from other pizza establishments that can't get close to Mods.

On May 15,2025. We took my sister to Mod Pizza in Green Valley AZ. I payed 75 dollars for a party of four. I picked up my order. I asked the manager for some plates to eat out salads to the manager. He said we don’t have and won’t have any more plates through all day. I told him. How are we going to eat our salads. He responded. That’s not my issue. Gave me two small salad bowls and said that’s all I can do for you. What kind of serving is that. I wanted to call the health department or the police. In order to get my refund back. Two bowls for a party of four. I felt very discriminated. I’m posting this on social media. Never again I’m I recommending this place. You need a more respectful manager. I would off called Health Department. The manager is very disrespectful and raises. They was a blonde lady that did our order next to him. This was at twelve noon. I’m calling the health department tomorrow. I’m a restaurant manager believe me I know what I can. I’m a food service director...

Food is good, pizza is a bit small. My issue was the ordering process. Basically you stand at the counter and tell them what you want which should go quickly since the stuff is on the menu. The problem is if you have someone in front of you that is doing a custom pizza. You are stuck waiting, 15 min tonight for me as this woman was slowly telling the pizza maker what she wanted on the pizza. Mean while people behind her who simply want to order something off the menu are stuck waiting. I asked them if they could just take my order but the girl behind the register was saying you cant cut in line. I was next in line so its not cutting I tell her. They need two people taking orders. One for these custom orders and one for regular orders. I tried to explain this but they just looked at me like they either didn't care or...
