I love Dutch Bros and I think their drinks are so good. But at this location they way they expect a tip from me makes me uncomfortable. A little while back I ordered a drink and the girl working was so consumed in asking for a tip that she forgot to scan my app. Instead she was asking for a tip and finished the transaction, I asked her to scan my app and she proceeded to tell me it’s my responsibility to remember to get it scanned, which I tried to ask her to scan earlier but she was too busy asking for a tip. Another time I ordered 3 drinks, I told them I’d leave them $1 and the guy said “ really, just a dollar?!” I couldn’t believe he said that, and after he saw the shock on my face he said “ just kidding, thanks. Another time right after scanning my app the barista says to me “ ok I’m going to do a dollar tip, ok?” He didn’t even give me the option to tip. I have an experience like this pretty much every time I come here. I don’t mind tipping, but I only want to tip if I get good service, and I certainly don’t want to be expected to tip. I work really hard for my money and it makes me uncomfortable that they feel they are just entitled to tip themselves. I used to come here daily, now I go once every couple of...
Read moreUPDATE In reading the response by the owner, it's apparent they don't care. Their suggestion to refer my complaint to Dutch Bros corporate speaks to a true disconnect. Since my original review, service remains the same. It's clear that this store is a moneymaker. To assist in that effort, they employ a predominantly young work force with little to no supervision. That is demonstrated by the constant stream of younger clientele who seem to have a high degree of familiarity with staff. I'm not implying that product is being given away, but I wouldn't be surprised.
ORIGINAL I know I'm impatient, but seems as if these folks are off their game lately. When you have two full lines (consistently) it's time to put it in high gear. The staff are all great at customer service, but they need to speed up service. Once you're in line your captive and can't leave even if you wanted to. Bottom line, they need to up their game and speed things up. Perhaps drink some of their product to stimulate productivity. When you spend over $50.00 per week on a product that is a want not a need, you can have higher...
Read moreThis place needs to get a boss a supervisor, something! I've been to almost every Dutch bro in AZ because I love the coffee
But this is like a whole bunch of moody teenagers at their first job who need to learn small talk, how to smile, and quite frankly how to order a correct coffee.
This was a embarrassing mess I felt uncomfortable watching them scramble.
Please train your employees correctly or don't open until you are ready
This was bad.....
Also the employees had to yell out the window because the music was too loud.
I just had a really bad overall experience at this location.
Unfortunately because I love Dutch Bros I just feel like your employees were thrown to the wolves without proper training.
I witnessed them trying to order with a very small amount of cars and they either didn't like their job ordering or they didn't know what to do.
Coffee was not as good tasting as the more established dutch brother , I expected that.
Next visit I have will be willing to change review with...
