Worst experience ever at this St George Location. I usually like going here and getting t-shirts for all of my family for birthdays and other holidays. I went today and was looking at the t-shirts I picked one up and held it against me to judge the size when a store associate came stomping up to me and said very loudly and rudely “If you aren’t going to buy that fold it back up!!” I was shocked and said excuse me and the associate went into this 5 minute rant lecture about how she spent all day folding and organizing it and customers just mess it up. I said well that was rude and poor customer service. I asked for her name as she was not wearing a name tag and she screamed “I’m the store manager”. I said well store manager you are rude and that was poor customer service, I have worked retail for over 10 years and customer service for almost 30 years and that is not how you treat customers. She just went on with her rant complaining about customers. Needless to say I put all the items we were buying down and we walked out while calling the corporate number for Five Below. As I left I asked another store associate the name of the store manager. I will be getting in touch with the regional manager letting them know about the extremely poor customer service and example to other employees being provided by the...
Read moreMeh. The store is generally clean and organized, so that's good. But I personally thought the stuff was overpriced and not exciting. Also, it's confusing to figure out how much any particular thing costs. I made the mistake of taking my kids in here. I couldn't stand the idea of buying overpriced plastic junk toys, so I let them choose some candy. The candy section had a big sign that said "All candy mix and match 4 for $5". So we picked out 4 candies that were directly under that sign. But when we got to the check out, it rang up at $1.75/each. I realize that 50 cents/each is not a huge price difference, a total of $2 difference. But it is NOT what the sign said. When I got an employee to help with the price discrepancy, she said it was accurate as it had rung up, even when I showed her the sign. I should have abandoned the candy at that point, but my kids would have been devastated. So I bought the overpriced candy. But guess what. I don't have any plans to shop here again. Too much hassle and just not really worth it. I guess they got the extra $2 from me this time but I'll go somewhere...
Read moreOrdered some things online. Turns out some of those items were in store, but I had to pay for shipment because they were "out". I contacted customer service because I still hadn't received an email stating my items were ready for pick up. They told me "I'll contact the store and email you soon, bye bye."... nothing, so 3 days after ordering I went in to the store, scrambling around, even with manager. Nothing, 4hrs later I finally get my email stating it's ready, but majority of my items were no longer available. I went in to pick up, they acted like they hadn't seen me before, scrambled around and found my order. I should've just offered to go around and collect my order right when I was there. The stickers I received had some drawings on the stickers. The other item was not as described, measurements are off according to what the site said and what the box said. But that is what happens when you order online I guess, won't make that mistake again. And won't order those other items to be shipped, already paid shipping once when not needed...
