If I could give a no star review I would. Not only am I livid beyond compare im sad. As my daughter and I were checking out here at this location I went up to a elderly white woman who did not have any means of being kind but was belligerently giving me the cold shoulder here. She gave me a TRASH BAG, when she had plenty of Ross Plastic bags instead. Not only did she do this to the kind black women in front of me but me as well! I really thought St. George was a friendly place in Utah but by god the absolute and blatant racism is so mind shattering it makes me want to get hit by a bus. The older woman didn’t smile, didn’t greet us, just handed us a trash bag with our items and we went on our way. I want this woman fired because you should NEVER EVER treat someone so poorly as she treated me and my child. It’s one thing to be completely out of bags, which she wasn’t, and to need to give us something else and that wasn’t necessary. I am beyond this world upset and saddened by this experience. And while many say “you’re overreacting” im not. For my entire life I’ve experienced racism but not this direct and quite frankly this old lady doesn’t deserve a position here at the St. George location.

Read moreOnly had 1 cashier when the line was all the way to the back of the store, no joke! The manager should be replaced if you don't have the wherewithal to staff more than 1 cashier 3 days before Christmas! It was over an hour wait to cash out!!! Apparently the "managers" were in a "meeting" while the customers waited for over an hour! Why weren't the managers breaking their meeting to help out? This was ridiculous! The line was to the back of the store and then some and your telling me the two ladies in the meeting that their priority was meeting instead of helping the customers?! Everyone was complaining! If it were me (and I have managed in this exact situation, I broke our meeting to take care of the surplus of customers), I would have had everyone up front that could help, helping! I would have called someone from home if necessary! I have done that before! The management is a JOKE! Elizabeth was our cashier and she handled the situation well being by herself. I really appreciated what she did and how quickly she worked through this difficult situation. I felt worse that her bosses would leave her in that position!

Read moreHorrible customer servese. Rubi was extremely rude and unprofessional. Store needs more cashiers. It was line out of 30 people and only my cusher at the customer service was available. people will just come in in front of the line to return stuff . I asked to open another register and they said somebody is on a way. It was Rubi. I told her it's not appropriate to have only one cashier in the return area when it's such a long line she said they don't have others . I asked how come they have only ONE cashier for the whole store?! She said no one is trained. She start packing my stuff in a bag chemicals together with some clothes and I asked her to put it in separate bag and her answer was I'm sorry we're not trained to do that. I ask her another question and her answer was the same I'm sorry we not trained. Proudly she informed me that she was there for 2 years. Ross management, please train your people to be more flexible, and start with Rubi. Also, please do not put any chemicals together with clothes. I hope it's not...
