Subway — Restaurant in Saint George

Food is usually very good in subway as it was today when we went in later in the afternoon but talk about rude service and condescending! The guy behind the counter had bad attitude towards us as well as his appearance was very off putting as he was obese and had a beard which made me afraid that I would find hair in my sandwich. I asked him to salt my sandwich and he overly salted it so it is lucky I like salt! Since living in Southern Utah I have noticed that a lot of the labor force act like they are doing you a favor by helping you and usually with a sneer. Other places I have lived workers are usually great and so I am wondering if this is a Mormon thing against outsiders or non mormons? Anyway, I doubt that we will be eating there again. Horrible experience, the one employee girl she was the more tanned one kept asking several times like she's new or something if I wanted my sandwich toasted I said yes but I want to get all of my toppings toasted with it before I could say anything she started throwing all the veggies on it and threw it in the oven, I said "I think you just put my sandwich in there" she looked at me confused and said I thought you wanted everything toasted, I said I wanted what I was getting on it toasted with it I never said all of the veggies she rudely rolled her eyes at me took off all the veggies threw them back in the bins, I only come to St George twice a year and have never had a problem at this subway, never will I come...

Usually have a good experience at this subway, but this time I watched the employee walk out of the bathroom on her phone and then proceed to line without washing her hands. She put on gloves but not before touching the outside of them. I work in food service and understand that things happen, but was very grossed out by her not taking the 45 seconds to wash her hands before making everyone’s food with gloves she touched the outside of.
