Dollar General — Local services in Saint Ignace

Had on face mask all though I have medical condition, so my nose is not covered so to be able to breath, cashier tells me that he will not ring me up if I don't cover my nose or stand 6 feet from the register mind you counter is minimal 2 ft deep plus candy shelf in front which is about another foot and I was already about 2 ft away and there was a full glass in-between him and I, and until I stepped back another 3ft he refused to ring me up. Claiming he has new born at home he needs to protect, yet If I where sick everything I put on counter he was touching to ring up and as he was ringing it up proceeded to touch his own mask and face so if he was so worried why he just defeated the purpose by...

3 months ago when the negative review was posted this store was in transition and it was a very cruel and unfair review! Obviously this person doesn't shop here on a regular basis or the review should have been updated. The store is now under new management and the workers are doing the best they can .The manager is a lovely woman who is always pleasant and the workers are very helpful.I shop there on a regular basis, and I never had any issues. These people are working hard to make this store an asset to the community and if you think Dollar stores are a breeze ,you should apply for a job and see for yourself. Was just in there the guy with long hair was very rude maybe over worked?! I was charged for an item that was buy 4 get one free while explaining I was trying to tell him what happened and he said I was yelling at him. I've never talked to a person in customer service that way in my life. I walked out and will never go there again I'll shop the local family dollar first. I have never been treated that way and spend a lot of money in that store but after today I'll never recommend it to anyone!
