Wednesday, July 24th, 2024. Outstanding Service. Heading home harbor hopping after the Bayview Mackinac Race and we're staying one night in St. Ignace Harbor. Harbor Master, Joe Stearns, and Miranda Paquin were hustling hard fueling the numerous sailboats, doing pump outs and helping boats into slips. They were both friendly and polite during the rush of all the sailboats entering and leaving the harbor. It was a delight to be greeted by friendly, smiling faces. The city is too small to allow the small van rentals but an employee of the marina drove my husband in his personal truck to pick up 10 batteries for our boat, which we were in desperate need at a tune of 700 pounds (for the 10 batteries) in his personal truck. Take a walk along the Historic St.Ignace walking four along the Marina, enjoy the beautiful little stores with awesome collection. Take stairway to Castle Rock, visit Bridge View Park.
